Trick or Treat Seed
Rainforest Jewels
Part precious gemstone and part seed, the Jewels of the Forest are extremely rare and much sought-after in Fairyland. You must spot 10 of the same wildlife to receive a Jewel.
Your count is listed on your backwall. The amount that has been spotted in your own garden does not count. The Fairyland Wildlife are the sole guardians of the Jewels of the Forest; they are not available simply to purchase from the Shoppe. However, when you are lucky enough to find one, it will be stored for you here in the Shoppe until you are ready to plant it. Most of the Rainforest wildlife are attracted by a combination of several flowering Jewels of the Forest, rather than just a single one. Therefore timing is very important - you should wait until you have all the required seeds available before you plant, and take care to note the growth times of each plant - they are not all the same Look at our planner for help.
Tip 1: The first Jewel listed for each type of wildlife is its 'favourite' - this is the one you can plant multiples of if you want to increase the attraction power!
Tip 2: Herb 'deterrents' for the rainforest wildlife work pretty well, but just a single one will not
guarantee a 100% deterrent effect - you will need a couple of them if you want to get close to a 100% deterrent effect.
Their favorite food, Tropical Fruits, must also be in your garden. You can put it on any feeding table but we suggest you use
the Raised Table so that some M&M's (like the White Mouse or Pygmy Mouse) don't compete for the food since they can only reach the lower platter.
Enchanted Jewels
Naturally, the Endangered Rainforest Wildlife are some of the most difficult wildlife to attract/spot in Fairyland. They will require some very good garden planning and the
patience to collect all of the required seeds. Read carefully what is required for each - and take care not to confuse your 'Jewels of the Forest' with your 'Enchanted Jewels'
Look at our planner for help. It is strongly advised that you also have a good 'Magical Mushroom' mouse deterrent in your Garden before attempting to attract the
Endangered Rainforest Wildlife. You will also need to figure out how best to deter any other rainforest wildlife from eating the fruit first! Once you have these things in place,
you should find that the Endangered Wildlife will actually visit a good amount of the time... but be warned - they don't stick around for long!
Tip: The first Jewel listed for each type of endangered wildlife (i.e. the 'Enchanted' one) is its 'favourite' -
this is the one you can plant multiples of if you want to increase the attraction power!
To earn the Jewel it MUST be your 10th (TENTH) of the SAME wildlife you have spotted (i.e. #10, #20, #30, etc) It doesn't count if you spot the wildlife
in your own garden ~ it must be in someone else's garden~ Lastly, the Jewel seeds can be found in the Seed Shoppe under their own tabs:
