The Good Fairy

I am a good fairy, I abide by every rule
I went to all my classes, at my junior fairy school

I wait in line to sprinkle, and never, ever push
I only water one plant, I'm never in a rush

To blanket water is a sin, or so I have been told
its discourteous to other fairies, and wastes all of your gold

I leave a little message, and sign it with a kiss
because to splash and not to, is really quite amiss

I'm ever grateful for what I find, Even a single diamond critter
so what if I miss a badger, I'm never, ever bitter

And as for swooping, Oh my dear, it really wouldn’t do
to steal someone elses unicorn, what a hullabaloo!

I am a really good fairy, and of that I'm very proud
being nice, polite & thoughtful, makes me stand out in a crowd.

The Bad Fairy

I am a bad fairy, because 'nice' I'm surely not
of rules & regulations, I do not give a jot!

I love to blanket water, so no other fairy can
and I always get the critter, so I don't give a damn

And why SHOULD I leave a message, Just to be 'SWEET & NICE'
why should I bloody thank you, when all I find are mice

Swooping is my middle name, I think its oh so great
to upset the other fairies, for me they surely hate

I'll steal the virgins unicorn, so what if I've got lots
you gonna complain about it? I'll smash all of your pots!

I'll trample on your flowers, and that’s not all I'll do
I'll block you from my 'fairy friends', set fire to your mushroom too

I am a REALLY bad fairy, so now you have been told
I'll claim all of your diamonds, and steal all of your gold!

FAIRYLAND

A FAIRY'S house stands in a wood
Midst fairy trees and flowers,
Where daisies sing like little birds
Between the sun and showers
And grasses whisper tiny things
About this world of ours.

Such flowers are there beside the way
Lilies and hollyhocks:
Blow off their stalks to tell the time
Tall dandelion clocks
While harebells ring an hourly chime
Like a wound music-box.

Some day shall we two try to find
This strange enchanted place?
Go hand in hand through flower-lit woods
Where living trees embrace
And suddenly, as in a dream
Behold a fairy's face!

There's a Fairy in My Garden

There's a fairy in my garden
We haven't yet spoken
 I see her every morning
Just as dawn has broken

She splashes in the bird bath
Swings from the highest tree
Blows kisses to the butterflies
And laughs aloud with glee

She plays music on spider webs
Like a miniature harpsichord
Then skips amongst the flowers
At the edge of the green sward

I don't want to scare her off
If I said hello, would she fret?
There's a fairy in my garden
We haven't spoken yet

A BUTTERFLY

A butterfly is a miraculous sight
Wispy wings so gossamer light
Shimmering in the warm sunlight
Sparkling in the pale moonlight
Giving all who see her pure delight
A butterfly is a miraculous sight

Lion – Leo

Majestically he looked up as I flew into your garden
I don’t mean to disturb your majesty I beg your pardon
But you look wise, gentle like Aslan from Narnia I said
I was expecting you he regally roared raising his head
His smile was gentle, royal and yet he purred like a cat
Slowly he walked towards me and then close by he sat
I know that you are a Leo Faerie replied the Leo Lion King
So I would like to give you these diamonds for a magic ring
Thank you I said as I wrapped my arms around his face
I kissed him goodbye and the he left with elegant grace

Black Unicorn

Is that really magic searing from your chest Snilloc gasped!!
YES! Said BU these are powers inherited from ancestors past
Well! Replied Snilloc, It’s truly beautiful and extremely rare
So please forgive me Black Unicorn if I stare and stare
And could you tell me too why you are not snow white
For seeing a Unicorn indigo black is an unexpected sight
In a magic land, he said, far from fairyland, I was born
The one and only indigo black magic wizard Unicorn
From a line of wizards and witches that are good
I would let you orb there with me if I only could
The faeries of Fairyland evoked my presence here
Of course it’s delightful to see faeries flying everywhere
Snilloc stroked his soft coat and rested her head on his mane
As magic stars flew from his chest and sparkled like rain
I have a gift for you he said and gave her a ring shining bright
From 14 diamonds it was made Snilloc exclaimed in delight
Thank you Black Unicorn for this enchanting treasure
He turned, began to gallop and smiling said, it’s my pleasure

Griffin

You are indeed a magical creature
In Fairyland you certainly feature
Half a bird huge as a Winged Unicorn
Strong wings to fly but without a horn
A tail that looks like a lion’s roar
A mane and face like an eagle’s soar
Would you let me ride with you?
Snilloc asked as the Griffin flew
You may gentle faerie for I like your light
Usually I am irritated sporting a fight
They flew together feeling free and true
Then he gave her a gift shining and new
Snilloc gazed in his eyes black as night
Beamed as she saw the diamonds bright
Before you go animal bird tell me what you are
A Griffin he squawked from a magic land afar

Pygmy Mouse

A pretty pygmy mouse was nibbling at your food
Waiting to say hello to a faerie that was good
So when Snilloc arrived to water your green
the little mouse allowed himself to be seen
they chatted and as she got ready to fly
then gave her 2 diamonds and squeaked goodbye
Thank you she said for gems sparkling blue
Enjoy this magical day and this evening too

  The Pelican – Aquarius

The Aquarius Pelican with a bill coloured in beaky pink
Was searching for water and fish in your garden I think
The Pelican looked rather young and seemed quite shy
As Snilloc curiously approached him to ask him why
Gazing at the faerie he fluffed his wings of black and white
For seeing her huge bucket of water was a tempting sight
I’ll give you diamonds young Pelican said if I can take a sip
And I would be forever grateful if I could also take a dip
You may said Snilloc I’ll empty the water into a garden dish
But remember I can only quench your thirst for I have no fish
He blinked his eyes, bent his head and wet his long pink bill
And Snilloc watched the huge bird play as she sat quite still
Thank you for the diamonds she said but I must be on my way
Sadly he bade goodbye and said he hoped to see her again someday

Picture
Rainbow Dragon

Rainbow Dragon how strong and green you are
Definitely the cutest dragon in fairyland by far
I love the way your ears wag, Snilloc said
and the way you raise your eyes on your head
Really! said Rainbow as his tongue spat right out
She noticed there was no fire from his nostrils about
Would you like some of these diamonds I found in my cave
I will give you some Snilloc if you promise to behave
I certainly will, replied the fairy Snilloc, aghast!!
Thank You Dragon I have gems for a ring at last

Picture
Meteorat

The Faeries are always calling me a mop
I honestly wish they would suddenly stop
The Meteorat said to Snilloc wearing a smile
They had been chatting in the garden awhile
I am similar to the earth creature called Rat
Yet adapted to extreme conditions, fancy that!
I hitch rides on passing meteorites, this is my life
Living on peaceful planets without any strife
I’ve collected precious stones on my travels around
And would like to give you one I recently found
Thank you Snilloc said, this promise I make to you
I will never call you a mop and to this I’ll stay true

Picture
Magpie

From a magical cloud in a magical sky
Snilloc spotted the marvellous magpie
He was nibbling on food and singing his song
So Snilloc flew in bringing sprinkles along
The Magpie tried very hard to hide
But Snilloc needed the blue So to water she flew
And offered the magpie a ride
Once he gave her the gems that sparkled blue
Snilloc bade him farewell and said thank you

Picture
Mallard

I just want you to know Snilloc said to the duck,
Every time I see you, you bring me good luck
The magic mallard cocked his head to the side
And wagging his tail, and his feathers so wide,
Listened to fairy Snilloc’s sweet voice of love
And felt happy now that he wasn’t a dove
He blinked his eyes and handed Snilloc a stone
Make a magic ring he said when you get home
Oh! Sweet duck you are kind and you are sweet
I thank you she said, you were a pleasure to meet
I’m off now he said to find ducks with which to play
The mallard quacked, turned and waddled away

Rudolph

Are you really Rudolph the red nose Reindeer?
The one that flies Santa Claus every Xmas year!
Yes! Said the animal, antlers waving high
But it’s not the only time of year that I fly
I visit enchanting Fairyland whenever I can
For I am the faeries and elves biggest fan
I’m fascinated by these gardens of magic and charm
So I bring gifts of diamonds and then I’m gone
Well I am so honored to meet you Snilloc said
And asked to kiss his red nose upon his head
You may Rudolph whispered and bent down to her
Snilloc kissed his nose gently and stroked his fur
And then Antlers held high he flew away
And Snilloc hoped she’d see him again one day.

Picture
Jackdaw

Is that Crow I see or could it be a Jackdaw
Snilloc really was not sure what she saw
Definitely a Jackdaw as black as the night
With piercing Iris’s the colour of white
On his neck shone bright a sheen of blue
A social bird he chirped “how do you do!”
Hello Mr Jackdaw, odd to see you all alone!
I know, he replied, I am very far from home
I flew to Fairyland bringing a magic gift of blue
And now Faerie Snilloc I hand it over to you
Snilloc gasped at the 5 diamonds aglow
Thanking the Jackdaw who now had to go
Snilloc noticed his wings were lined with grey
As the black bird of presence began to fly away

Picture
Winged Unicorn

I never knew there was a Unicorn so completely pink
Snilloc said as the winged creature turned to wink
And you can fly just like the magic Pegasus she said
Yes! Replied the Winged Unicorn with a nod of her head
Her pastel pink coat felt warm and soft like a cloud
And her deep rose pink wings flapped strong and loud
You have magnificent & beautiful eyes that are sharp
and the sound of your voice is like a musical harp
May I climb on your back and ride with you awhile
You may said the Pink Unicorn with a stunning smile
But first I have for you a gift, a crown shining bright
Made with 12 magic diamonds, Snilloc smiled in delight
Thank you Snilloc said clambering up her pink mane
And placing her crown on her head they flew into the rain

Picture
The Centaur - Sagittarius

You are the strangest creature Snilloc said
A horse’s body with a human man’s head
I am a Centaur he replied, grinning at her
How handsome she thought, with soft fur
I’m a magical creature from a land far away
Visiting Fairyland on this enchanting day
I bring you a gift of diamonds shining blue
To treasure and take home with you
Snilloc reached for his beautiful long black hair
And into his dark eyes a meaningful stare
Thank you she whispered and touched his cheek
He turned and galloped away leaving her weak

Picture
Golden Unicorn

Snilloc was quietly sprinkling in your faerie garden
When she heard someone say “I beg your pardon”
She turned and looked into a blinding shimmer
Wearing a coat magically shining a golden glimmer
Stood and reared a creature that she had been told
Was seldom seen, magnificent, majestic, and bold
A Golden Unicorn with mane as dark as night
How privileged she felt to gaze upon this sight
She whispered in his ear, her face in his wild mane
Then he bent his head and gently did the same
I have a gift for you he said rearing up once more
A treasure chest of zodiac gems & diamonds galore For me!!!
Gasped Snilloc clutching the chest tight
Thank you Golden Unicorn in the magic golden light
Lifting his sharp and grey Unicorn he offered her a ride
Snilloc fluttered her wings flying proudly by his side
