New Year Flowers Now Available!
Wednesday December 28th Celebrate the new year (and Fairyland's 15th birthday on January 1st!) by planting a New Year flower! Note: Gifting is not working again just yet, so use the link below to get one for yourself for free :)

The New Year Flower does not attract any wildlife so will not affect your current garden setup... but it will bring a beautiful firework display to your Garden in time to celebrate the new year. Also, just a reminder that if you have built a Festive Tree this year, you can now open the gift under it if you haven't already done so. (It's best opened as soon as possible as this particular gift expires at the end of 2021.) Wishing everyone a very happy 2022! |

Fairyland's Holiday Calendar Is Back! Thursday December 1st Fairyland's Holiday Calendar is back again... and things are a little different this year! First thing you'll notice is that there are no pots to earn this year (but of course there are always plenty of vintage festive pots available to buy from other players in the Marketplace!) Instead, this year the Calendar brings Fairyland's very first fully customizable (and freezable) Fairylights! Get started now by gifting Holiday Calendars to friends! 
How it works
Each day throughout December, open the calendar door and behind it will be hiding one of the Fairyland Winter Wildlife. You then have 12 hours before the door closes again, and during this time your quest is to spot this wildlife in other gardens - the first one you spot will light up that day's Fairylight in your Garden, setting it to red. If you wish, you can then unlock more Fairylight colours (Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet and finally White - 8 colours in all) with each additional spot of that wildlife. The best strategy is to unlock as many of the 8 each day as you can, to give you the most options for designing your lighting scheme later. Later, you will see the option to "Edit" your Fairylights, which is where you can design your own custom lighting scheme, choosing from all the colours you managed to unlock while hunting. Also, when the calendar is fully completed (after the final door closes), you also have the ability to "freeze" this year's lights as a background effect, so you can keep the lights in your Garden without needing to use a valuable space for the Calendar :) And finally, If you're missing the pots this year, don't worry - something special for Potoholics is arriving early in the new year :) Happy Fairylight-designing! |

It's Time To Decorate The Tree!
Monday November 29th Fairyland's Festive Trees are back again - and as usual, a small gift can be found under each completed tree, which can be opened later this month! Get started right away by sharing some trees with your friends:

If it's your first time decorating the tree, then you can find details about how to do it after you have planted one in your Garden. You only need to complete one tree to get the gift - it's not necessary to complete multiple trees, except for fun! It's also important that you plant and decorate a brand new tree to get this year's gift - if you continue with a partially completed tree from last year, then you won't get the gift!) Poinsettias, Ice Flowers & Snowmen!
Monday November 28th The Fairyland winter season is upon us again, and our usual wintery seasonal items have started appearing in the Gift Shoppe! First up, the Poinsettia:

When flowering, the Poinsettia will attract seasonal birds your Garden (Cardinals and Robins), and when harvested, all Poinsettias release a small but welcome gift of Gold! Our regular Ice Flowers are also now available: While flowering, the Ice Flower will bring a beautiful flurry of snow to your Garden, attracting cold-weather wildlife such as the Arctic Fox and the Arctic Hare. And as usual, whenever the snow is falling in your Garden, any Mice & Mallards visiting will be dressed in their best festive outfits, and will give double diamonds when spotted! And finally, you can now build Snowmen (and Snow-women) again! Not sure how to build a Snowman? Put one in your Garden, and it will have a "Help" link which you can click to get all the info you need. |

It's Fairyland Halloween... With New Haunted House Pots!
Saturday October 8th The Fairyland Halloween gifts are now available for sending again, this year with some brand new Haunted House Pots to be earned for harvesting different weight Pumpkins! Send Gifts

It's Time To Turn Fairyland Pink Again!
Saturday October 1st Every October, Fairyland turns pink to help raise breast cancer awareness, and our Pink Plant is now available for sending to friends! You can of course send these gifts to as many friends as you wish, whether they're already on Fairyland or not:

New: Collectable Pots Marketplace!
Thursday September 1st
Many beautiful pots in Fairyland have been "limited editions", which are no longer available to earn in the game. So the great news
today is that a new Marketplace feature has arrived, where you can sell your unwanted Limited Edition Pots and buy them
from other players!
You can find a link to the marketplace from your Storage area, which also features a new "Collectable" tab where you can see
which of your current pots are 'Collectable' and can therefore be sold if you wish.
All past 'Limited Edition' pots are now considered Collectable, and will not be available to earn in-game again. Limited edition pots
which can currently be earned in-game (currently the Summer 'Vegetable Pots' which are earned by growing Sunflowers) will only
become 'Collectable' about a month after they are no longer earnable in-game.
Pots are bought and sold using Gold Dust, therefore all prices shown in the Marketplace are in Gold Dust (NOT Gold!)
While this does mean that Pots can only be bought from the Marketplace with purchased Gold (not with Gold collected for free in-game), anyone may sell pots to earn Gold :)
In addition, the maximum number of storage shelves you can buy has now been increased to 250 (which can hold 1750 pots!!),
so you should have plenty of space for your collectables.
Final Tip: We recommend not to immediately sell all your Limited Edition pots to get Gold, because it might be useful
to have some of these pots in the future, and who knows... some of them may become quite valuable ;)

Sunflowers and New 'Vegetable' Pots!
Friday June 24th Sunflower gifts are now available again for sending to friends!

While fully grown, the Sunflower will bring the Sun out in your Garden, and the Mice and Mallards will be taking shade under their Mushrooom Parasols! 
Seasonal Quest Alert!
The seasonal quest "Fun In The Sun" is also open again. Different variations on this quest are available at a few different levels, but only until the end of September, while the Sunflowers are still available in the Gift Shoppe.

It's Summertime In Fairyland!
Monday June 21st The Summer Solstice is upon us (in the northern hemisphere) which means it's officially the first day of Summer in Fairyland! This means our Summer seasonal wildlife are beginning to arrive again, starting today with the Beehives, which will not only bring Bees but also a few other honey-loving wildlife to your Garden! Beehive gifts can be sent to friends using the links below:

Beehives Your Beehive will attract bees to your Garden - be sure to leave out some Wild Berries for them to feed on! Every Bee spotted in your Garden will make some honey in your Beehive. When you have 5 lots of honey in your Beehive, it will be 100% full and can be harvested. This will give you a pot full of lovely honey, into which you can plant beautiful Honey Blossom flowers. The type of honey in your hive will affect the colour of the Honey Blossom flower it grows - this then affects which type of bees are attracted to your Garden next. There are 8 different Bee types to attract/spot, including the Queen Bee at the end (each one does its own little 'waggle dance' when spotted :) To attract all 8 of them, you'll need to figure out how to gradually breed the right colours of Honey Blossom. All the other information you need can be found in the 'Seasonal' section of the Wildlife Guide (along with details of a few other wildlife such as Bears, which are attracted by all the Honey around at this time of year!) Plant An Earth Flower For Earth Day!
Friday April 15th Fairyland's Earth Flower is back again, in time for Earth Day on April 22nd! 
As usual, the Earth Flower also attracts cute little Earthworms to your Garden (which are quite rare, so you may need to plant a few Earth Flowers to attract them more easily.)

Easter In Fairyland - With New Bunny Eggs!
Wednesday March 16th It's Easter time in Fairyland once again, with Daffodils now available for gifting to friends! 
Daffodils attract the Easter Bunny. Remember to keep an empty "nest" in your own Garden while hunting for him as he will drop a decorated egg for you whenever you spot him in another garden, with which you can attract lots of other Easter Wildlife to your Garden. (To build nests, start with an empty nesting tree from the gift shoppe, or if it's your first Fairyland Easter, you can get one free ready-built nest by clicking here!)
Finally, the giant Egg building & growing challenge is back again... and this year, we're growing giant Bunny Eggs!
To grow a giant egg, put the plant in your Garden, then click its 'help' icon for further info.

Leprechauns and Shamrocks!
Wednesday March 9th It's the time of year again when the Leprechauns pay a visit to Fairyland, and they can be spotted around the Gardens mischeivously stealing the veggies which have been left out for Wildlife! Leprechauns are attracted to Gardens with fully grown Shamrocks, and these are available now for gifting to friends!

As usual, every Shamrock harvested releases a Pot O' Gold. There's a 1 in 10 chance that a Shamrock will be of the lucky 4-leaf variety (these release more Gold than the 3-leaf ones when harvested!) 
Shamrock Pots!
In case you missed them in previous years, Shamrock Pots are also available again... The "Inflating" Shamrock Pot is earned for every 10th Leprechaun you spot (either regular or Scuba-Leprechaun) in other Gardens. He will then drop one of these for you, sending it to your Storage Area. 
The Shamrock "Hand-Painted Pot" design is also available again in the Pot Shoppe.

10th Fairyland Players Convention (UK)
Monday March 7th
Every year before restrictions began in 2020, a group of Fairyland Players have organized a convention where players can get together and meet each other in real life for a day of Fairyland-themed fun. Dozens of players attend each year, with some travelling around the world to be there! The day is always a lot of fun and everyone's very friendly.
Well, the great news is that the 10th such event, which unfortunately had to be cancelled in 2020, will finally be taking place this year!
It's being held at the same venue as originally planned (Chesil Vista in Weymouth, Dorset, UK), on Saturday June 18th
Everyone's invited, so if you're interested in coming along and meeting other friendly Fairylanders, please join the Facebook Group for all the info!
Please note that this event is organized by players, not by Fairyland, so all questions etc should be directed to the organizers via their Facebook Group.
