Ever thought about what wildlife is attracted by a certain garden set-up?
You can check it on the wildlife calculator http://myarduinoprojects.com/wildlifecalculator/index.html |
If any text is ever too small to read comfortably, press the CTRL and the + key at the same time to increase the size.
Pressing CTRL and the - key at the same time will make it smaller.
~Finding your link~
Go to the Fairyland App and click on "My Garden" to ensure you have the appropriate link in the URL.
You can now copy and paste your link anywhere you'd like.
You can now copy and paste your link anywhere you'd like.
~Copying your link~
To copy your link, simply put your cursor just before the "H" in "http" and then click and hold the left button on your mouse. While holding the button down, drag your cursor across the entire address. Release the left button. It should now be "highlighted" as shown in the picture to the right. Put the cursor over the address you've just highlighted. Right click and then click on the word "COPY."
~Pasting your link~
Go to wherever it is you want to paste your link and place your cursor there. Right click and then click on the word "PASTE."
Once you've pasted your link, you may see a pop up like the one circled in red. If you do, simply click the "x" and it will disappear.
This pop up link serves no purpose and simply wastes space.
If you don't delete it and you click on it after it's been posted, it will take you to a page with an error message and nothing more.
Finding your FB (Facebook) ID is NOT the same as your Garden ID.
The Facebook ID can be found in the browser (address) bar of your garden's BACK wall.
To get to the back wall, just click on your garden owner's link (your name and fairy's name).
Be aware that all you need are the last 4 digits of your ID for the FL calculator.
Once you've got your Facebook ID, check out the CALCULATOR! It's a great tool if you want to skip the guesswork
in finding your 10 gold recipe and correct Praecocia pots.
*FOR ALL MAC USERS that were having issues with the Calculator: don't use "Preview" to open it.
You need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader for this one.
It's a free download. For Safari users on a Mac: when you move your mouse over a user's name/photo, their Facebook ID shows up in the Status Bar
(which is at the bottom of your Safari window if you have that option turned on - otherwise go to the View menu and 'Show Status Bar').
The other option is to control click on either the name or photo and choose 'Open Link in New Window' and the profile should launch.
At that point the FaceBook ID is available in the toolbar at the top of the page.
