New Year Flowers Now Available!
Sunday December 29th

Celebrate the arrival of the new year in Fairyland by planting a New Year flower!

The New Year Flower does not attract any wildlife so will not affect your current garden setup...
but it will bring a beautiful firework display to your Garden in time to celebrate the new year!
Best wishes to everyone for the new year!

Capricorn  Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Sunday December 22nd
It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Capricorn seeds are available again
in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!
Capricorn Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attract Sea-Goats to your Garden,
which will drop a Garnet Birthstone every 10th time you spot them in other Gardens.
You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this, please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Garnet Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are theBaby Fox and the Baby Wombat!
Happy baby making!

Festive Free Superfood!!
Sunday December 22nd

As a little helping hand to everyone still trying to complete their Santa Snowmen and Festive Trees, Superfood is FREE in all public Gardens for the next 2 days!!
As always, Free Superfood is a gift which is meant to be shared to help everyone, so you just need to ensure that your garden is not "private"
and you'll see the Free Superfood in the Shoppe when you go to refill your food plates.
Finally, after the Free Superfood event has ended, it will be time to open the "Large Gifts" under any trees you successfully completed :)
Have fun!

Oops, I Forgot To Re-Freeze My Background :(
Tuesday December 17th

You may have done it yourself at some time or another - you've taken great care growing and then freezing your favourite "background effects" in your Garden, but then you forget to re-freeze before the week is up and lose them all :(

Great news - you no longer need to worry about forgetting to re-freeze your background effects!

If you forget to re-freeze your background effects then you now have an extra 24 hours during which you can get them back again! Simply click the "freeze background effects" button as usual, and in the popup you'll see a new option to restore your recently expired effects :)

Gifts Under The Tree!
Sunday December 1st

Fairyland's festive tree decorating challenge is back again, and there's a little something extra to collect for it this year!

Get started right away by sharing trees with your friends:
Send Gifts

How It Works
Decorating the tree is very similar to building snowmen or scarecrows - you need to collect the various items with which to decorate it -

streamers, garlands, gifts, baubles, lights, plus a "large gift".
That's 6 items in all, which is one more than last year as the "Large Gift" is new this year!
These items are dropped by the winter seasonal wildlife, with the new "Large Gift" being
dropped by the new Elf Mice & Mallards (see theWildlife Guide for full details of which
 wildlife drop which items!)
You'll also notice that the winter seasonal wildlife drop both the snowman-building items and the tree-decorating items. However they will only drop ONE item for every 5th spot (either a snowman item or a tree decoration, but not both.) If you happen to have 2 things in your garden which need decorating (e.g. a tree and a snowman), then it's always the leftmost one which will get priority - so make sure you arrange your Garden with this in mind while out hunting!
You can build as many trees as you wish, and in about 3 weeks you'll be able to open the "Large Gift" under each of your trees and discover what's inside!
Happy tree decorating!

Festive Challenge - More Info!
Saturday November 30th

Many of you have already started attempting this year's Festive Challenge, but as promised, here's some further information to help you out!
The challenge is to build a "Santa" Snowman, which will look something like this one (you've probably seen a few around the gardens already!)
To complete a "Santa" Snowman, you'll need to collect:
A red Santa hat
A snow beard (mouth)
A red coat (arms)
A black belt (buttons)
Any eyes and nose will do :)
As usual, these parts are dropped by every 5th Festive Wildlife you spot (festive mice & mallards, cardinals, reindeer, snowy owls, arctic foxes etc.)
However there's only about a 1 in 5 chance of a "Santa" part being dropped instead of a regular snowman part,
so you will need to have pretty good luck to build a complete Santa Snowman this way.
However the good news is that this challenge becomes much easier over time...
Gardens which have completed a Santa Snowman will begin attractingElf Mice & Mallards - these are now listed in the Wildlife Guide.
These Elves ALWAYS drop "Santa" parts for every 5th spotted, which means that you only need to spot 5 of each of them to complete your own Santa!
Therefore the more Gardens that complete the challenge, the easier it becomes for everyone else, so if you're finding this challenge too difficult right now,
wait until a little later in December, when Elf Mice & Mallard will be taking over lots more Fairyland Gardens and will be much easier to spot.
Discarding Snowman Parts
To help you build your Santa Snowman, you can discard parts which are not correct.
To do this, click the [more info] link next to where it says "incomplete" in your snowman's popup, and you'll see where you can discard individual items.
Important note: you can't discard items after a snowman has been "completed" with all the parts, so it's a good idea to leave the eyes and nose until last,

as it doesn't matter which variety of these you find!
Send Gifts
Good luck, and have fun with this challenge!

Poinsettias, Ice Flowers & Snowmen!
Wednesday November 27th

The festive season is almost upon us again, and our usual festive items have started appearing in the Gift Shoppe!
First up, the Poinsettia:
Send Gifts
When flowering, the Poinsettia will attract seasonal birds your Garden (Cardinals and Robins), and when harvested, all Poinsettias release a small but welcome gift of Gold!
Our regular Ice Flowers are also now available:
Send Gifts
While flowering, the Ice Flower will bring a beautiful flurry of snow to your Garden, attracting cold-weather wildlife such as the Arctic Fox and the Arctic Hare.
And as usual, whenever the snow is falling in your Garden, any Mice & Mallards visiting will be dressed in their best festive outfits, and will give double diamonds when spotted!
And finally, you can now build Snowmen again!
Send Gifts
Not sure how to build a Snowman? Put one in your Garden, and it will have a "Help" link which you can click to get all the info you need :)

New Festive Challenge!
Picture
You may notice a few new Snowman parts around this year... which should give you a big clue what this year's upcoming festive challenge is about!

So if you enjoy figuring out a challenge, you can go ahead and start experimenting right away if you wish (we will be posting more info about the challenge on December 1st!)

And The Final New Arrival In This Series Is...
Friday November 22th
...this guy:
We hope you've enjoyed this watery/fishy series (a few players had requested something very easy, so we hope this fitted the bill!)

We know that many players enjoy a bit more of a challenge though, and the great news is that we have more coming soon - arriving later next week will be a new festive challenge,

and that will be followed in the new year by our next "big" exciting new Fairyland release!!

Look out for more news soon...

Another New Arrival!
Wednesday November 20th

The latest wildlife in our current series has just arrived!

Have fun guessing what it is and the flower combination needed to attract it!

Sagittarius Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Wednesday November 20th

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Sagittarius seeds are available again in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!

Send Gifts
Sagittarius Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attract the handsome Centaur to your Garden,

who will drop a Blue Topaz Birthstone every 10th time you spot him in other Gardens.
You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this,
please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Blue Topaz Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are the Baby Elephant and the Baby Aardvark!

Happy baby making!

Another New Arrival!

Can you guess what it is?!
Good luck!
And Another One!
Sunday November 10th

The latest of our new fish-loving wildlife has arrived today!

It's out there now, and is attracted in the same way as the previous ones (different colours are needed though!)

Good luck!

New Arrival!
Wednesday November 6th
Can you guess what it is?!
It's out there now, and is attracted in the same way as the King Penguin and Walrus (different colours are needed though!)

Plant A Poppy!
Tuesday November 5th

Fairyland's Limited Edition Poppy is now available again in the Gift Shoppe for sending to friends!
Send Gifts
When 'ready for harvest', Poppies will attract beautiful Peace Doves to your Garden.

King Penguins and Walruses!
Friday November 1st

Did you guess them right?

And of course, the plant required to attract them is the Piscis Aquabullae.

However there's a little more to attracting these guys than just growing one plant, and everyone
in Fairyland will need to work together to figure out the correct combination of plants to attract them (there are quite a few possible combinations, but if everyone tries something different, someone is sure to hit upon the correct combination before too long!)
For each of the new wildlife, you'll need:
1 x Ready For Harvest Piscis Aquabullae
2 x Flowering Piscis Aquabullae
Bird Mix to eat
All 3 of the Piscis Aquabullae must be different colours (the exact combination is for you
to discover) and any Piscis of the wrong colour will completely deter the wildlife.
You therefore need to have the exact 3 correct ones and no extra ones in your garden.

As an added bonus, you can change the colour of your Piscis Aquabullae (by sprinkling

them with Gold Dust) for FREE throughout November, which means that you can experiment
with different colour combinations as much as you like :)
Good Luck... and look out for more fishy wildlife soon!

There's Something Fishy About These Guys!
Monday October 28th

We hope everyone's been having fun during the Free Superfood weekend! (If you successfully completed your Witch Scarecrow, remember to leave her out in your Garden for a few more days to help the folks who are still Zombie hunting!)

After Fairyland's Zombie invasion, we will be returning to normal next month, with the arrival of some new regular wildlife. Here's an early heads-up so you can have a guess at what they might be (and therefore which RFH plant you will need to attract them.)
This is probably one of the easier ones to figure out, but you'll find out if you got it right on Friday when these guys (and a few more of their friends) begin arriving in Fairyland!

It's a FREE SUPERFOOD Weekend!!
Friday October 25th

As a little helping hand to everyone still going with the Halloween Challenge, one of our famous Free Superfood Weekends begins today!

Everyone can take advantage of the free Superfood, the only conditions are that you allow everyone to freely hunt in your Garden

(it's not available while your Garden is set to "private") and you can't clear Superfood plates for at least 2 hours after they have been put out.
To get the free Superfood, simply refill your feeding tables as you usually would, and (assuming your Garden is public) you will see the "Free Superfood" option in the Shoppe!

Enjoy :)

Scorpio Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Wednesday October 23rd

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Scorpio seeds are available again in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!

Scorpio Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attract Scorpions to your Garden, which will drop a Citrine Birthstone every 10th time you spot them in other Gardens.
You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this, please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Citrine Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are the Baby Tortoise and the Baby Gazelle!

Happy baby making!

Halloween Challenge - Some Useful Help!
Wednesday October 16th

Many of you have already started attempting the Halloween Challenge this year, and a few lucky gardens have even completed it already, which is great going!
However as mentioned previously, this challenge starts out verydifficult but gets much easier over time... here's all the help you need so you can try to complete it by Halloween!
The challenge is to build a "Witch" Scarecrow, something like this one (you've probably seen a few around the gardens already!)

To complete a "Witch" Scarecrow, you'll need to collect:
A black witch's hat (must be the one shown above)
A black witch's top (shirt)
A black witch's skirt (legs)
She can have any head you like :)

As usual, these parts are dropped by every 5th Halloween Wildlife you spot (ghostly mice & mallards, bats and cats.)
However there's only about a 1 in 7 chance of a "witch" part being dropped instead of a regular scarecrow part, so you will need to have pretty good luck to
build a complete Witch Scarecrow this way (that's what we mean by the challenge starting out very difficult!)
However the good news is that this challenge becomes much easier over time...

Gardens which have completed a Witch Scarecrow (and also have a RFH Halloween Flower to make witches fly around the Garden)
will begin attracting Zombie Mice & Mallards - these are now listed in theWildlife Guide. These Zombies ALWAYS drop "Witch" parts for every 5th spotted,
which means that you only need to spot 5 of each of them to complete your own witch.
Therefore the more Gardens that complete the challenge, the easier it becomes for everyone else, so if you're finding this challenge too difficult right now,
wait until a little closer to Halloween, when Zombie Mice & Mallard will be taking over lots more Fairyland Gardens and will be much easier to spot.

Discarding Scarecrow Parts
New this year, we've also added a feature where you can discard individual scarecrow parts, to help you build the perfect scarecrow!
To do this, click the [more info] link next to where it says "incomplete" in your scarecrow's popup, and you'll see where you can dicard individual items
(note: you can't discard items after a scarecrow has been "completed", so remember to not allow your scarecrow to be completed by the Crow before you're happy with it!)

Zombie Field Mice
Until now, Zombie Field Mice have been dropping scarecrow heads (just like the Ghostly Field Mice.)
However these aren't so useful for witch-building as a witch can have any head. So the great news is that Zombie Field Mice have now started dropping Witch's Hats instead,
which are much more useful :)
Good luck, and have fun with this challenge!

New Spooky Halloween Challenge!
Tuesday October 8th

All of our usual Halloween items are now available again... and there's a new spooky challenge to be solved this year!
Start now by sending Halloween Flowers and Scarecrows to friends!
You'll need to work with other_s to figure out what needs doing to complete this year's mystery Halloween Challenge,  as we're not posting instructions just yet!
The only thing we'll say for now is that this challenge starts out verydifficult, meaning that only a lucky few will manage to complete it initially.
But don't worry - this challenge actually gets easier over time (the more gardens that complete it, the easier it gets) so everyone should have a good chance

to complete it by the end of the month!
So if you like a good challenge, get experimenting now! Or if you prefer things easier, you may prefer to hang back a week or two until all is revealed!
Good luck!

It's Time To Turn Fairyland Pink Again!
Tuesday October 1st

Every October, Fairyland turns pink to help raise breast cancer awareness, and our Pink Plant is now available for sending to friends!
You can send them to as many friends as you wish, whether they're already on Fairyland or not:
All the usual Pink wildlife (and pink Hand-Painted Pots) are back again, but there's a new and very rare wildlife arrival this year too... can you guess what it might be and try to spot one?!

Libra Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Friday September 20th

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Libra seeds are available again in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!
Libra Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attractPeacocks to your Garden,
which will drop an Opal Birthstone every 10th time you spot them in other Gardens.
You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this,  please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Opal Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are the Baby Hedgehog and the Baby Kangaroo!
Happy baby making!

Fairyland Goes Canine Crazy!
Tuesday September 17th

After last month's arrival of the felines in Fairyland (Tiger, Leopard etc), this month sees the arrival of some new canine-themed wildlife!
You won't find any of your domestic dog breeds here of course - but you will find wildlife such as Wolves and Coyotes, and also one which doesn't really belong in this category

(but at the same time kinda does!)  They're all out there already, so get hunting!  (They will be added to the Wildlife Guide after a few days...)

Special Offer - Final Chance!
Monday September 2nd

Just a reminder that our special Double Star Dust offer ends very soon, so if you'd like to get a purchase in before the deadline, don't delay!

Silver Fox!
September September 1st

We've received reports that the very rare Silver Fox has recently been spotted in Fairyland!
The Silver Fox is a melanistic Fox, so to attract it, set your Garden up for the regular fox and occasionally it will be a silver one!
And look out for more melantistic wildlife arriving this month! This is especially great news if you're hunting for Fairytale Seeds, as the first time you spot any Albino or Melanistic Wildlife (in another garden) they will always drop a Fairytale Seed for you!

It's An Olinguito!
Monday August 26th

Well that didn't take long... we thought that the latest wildlife mystery would take everyone a while to figure out, but Olinguitos are all over Fairyland already!
The Wildlife Guide has now been updated so you can advertise or find gardens to hunt for Olinguitos in (there's a useful tip in there for increasing the attraction for them too!)

New Wildlife Species Discovered In Fairyland!
Thursday August 22nd

This cute little guy has recently been discovered in Fairyland!
He's difficult to attract though, as he requires 3 different plants, and nobody yet knows which ones they are!
You're unlikely to find which plants they are by random chance alone - there are just too many possible combinations. Instead, you'll need to guess what the new wildlife is, and then do a little research on its natural habitat... this may give you some clues as to which 3 Fairyland plants are required!
The Wildlife Guide will be updated in a couple of weeks... will the mystery have been solved by then???
Good luck!

Virgo Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Wednesday August 21st

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Virgo seeds are available again in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!
Virgo Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attract Storks to your Garden, which will drop
a Sapphire Birthstone every 10th time you spot them in other Gardens.
You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this, please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Sapphire Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are the Baby Deer and the Baby Camel!
Happy baby making!

Did You Solve The Big Cat Mystery?
Friday August 16th

Congratulations if you already managed to attract/spot in the new Tiger and Panther, but if not, the Wildlife Guide has now been updated!

The Tiger can be found under the "Levels 11+" section and the Black Panther can be found under the "Albinos" section

(which is now renamed "Albino and Melanistic Wildlife" - so look out for a few more in the future!

Special Offer - Extra Free Star Dust!
Friday August 16th

Our popular "Extra Star Dust" special offer is back! For a limited time, you now get Double Star Dust with every purchase of Gold!
So why not go ahead and treat yourself (or a friend) and help to support Fairyland's continued development :)
The offer will be available for the next 2 weeks. We don't run special offers very often, so don't miss it!

Two New Big Cats Spotted In Fairyland!
Saturday August 10th

We've heard reports that there are two more new Big Cats on the loose in Fairyland!
The first is the Tiger... but it's a real puzzle figuring out what attracts him.

You'll need to gather together all the evidence you can find from the gardens which manage to attract him "accidentally" to figure out the secret!
The other is the Black Panther, which is especially exciting as it's Fairyland's very first Melanistic Wildlife!

("Black Panther" being the common name for  Melanistic Leopard, which is a Leopard with very dark skin pigmentation.)
Both of these new wildlife are great if you enjoy a bit of a challenge, however if you can't figure out the secret of attracting/spotting them, don't worry

- the Wildlife Guide will be updated in a few days... good luck!

Summer Sunflowers!
Friday July 26th

Fairyland has a new Summer seasonal flower today - Sunflowers are now available as gifts for sending to friends!
While fully grown, the Sunflower will bring the Sun out in your Garden, and the Mice and Mallards will be taking shade under their Mushrooom Parasols!

The Summer Field Mouse's Mini Challenge!
Hi there! I'm the Summer Field Mouse. You've probably seen me around a few times without my shades and mushroom parasol!
Listen, I have a new little summer challenge for you, and if you can complete it, 100 Pink Diamonds and 2 Fairy Tale Seedsare yours!
(If you have already completed the Fairy Tales, you can still do the challenge just for fun!)
The challenge is to both spot and attract all of us Summer Mice and Mallards twice each.
This means that you need to spot me at least 2 times, and also have me spotted in your Garden at least 2 times.
Same for the Summer White Mouse, Summer Pygmy Mouse and Summer Mallard.
When you think you've completed the challenge, return to this page and click me below to claim your reward!
My challenge will only be running until the end of August, so if you'd like to have a go at it, don't delay!

Leo Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Sunday July 21st

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and Leo seeds are available again in the gift shoppe for sending to friends!
Leo Zodiac Flower
When 'Ready For Harvest', this Zodiac flower will attract Lions to your Garden, which will drop a Peridot Birthstone every 10th time you spot them in other Gardens.

You can then use these Birthstones to make babies in your Garden - for full details of this, please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
For the Peridot Birthstone, the 2 babies you can make are Baby Brown Bunnies and Baby Giraffes!
Happy baby making!

Big Cats!
Friday July 19th

It's almost time for the Leo Zodiac flower to arrive, so Lions will be back in Fairyland again very soon.
But this time around the Lions won't be the only Big Cats in town, as this one has just arrived today!
How do you attract her to your Garden? That's for you to discover!
(As usual, the wildlife guide will be updated in a few days' time...)

Slow Loading Pages?
Friday July 5th

If you're using the "Internet Explorer" web browser, you may be experiencing some slow loading pages or "long running script" errors just now.
Unfortunately this problem has been caused by a recent Facebook update and it may take some time until they fix it.
However the good news is that you can fix the problem yourself, in one of 2 ways:
(1) The problem usually only affects Internet Explorer if you are using "Compatibility View", so simply switch this off if you have it on
(you don't need it!) and that should fix the problem.
(2) Alternatively, you could switch from Internet Explorer to a different browser instead, such as Firefox or Google Chrome.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused if you are experiencing this problem.

Missing Friends?
Thursday July 4th

We're aware of a problem today where some people are missing a few friends from their lists
(this would also mean you can't get into those friends' gardens if they are set to "private".)

We're currently checking into this, however because "friends list" problems are often ones which

we need to wait for Facebook to fix, please be patient as it could take a day or two!

Your friends' gardens are still there, so if you have a direct link to their gardens (or click on one of their posts in the game)

then you can still visit their gardens ok (the only exception being if they have their garden set to "private".)

Apologies for the inconvenience caused - we will post an update as soon as we have news!

Nivea The Beautiful Fairy  Arrives In Fairyland!
Monday July 1st

Nivea The Beautiful Fairy arrives in Fairyland today, to tell her tale of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves !
So if you have already managed to complete the tasks from the sixth Fairy Tale (Three Billy Goats Gruff), and have already saved up enough
Pink Diamonds / Fairytale Seeds to start the next one then you can now attract Nivea to your Garden by purchasing the new Fairytale Pots, and planting some Fairytale Seeds!
Like the previous Fairy Tales, this one will need a little figuring out initially, so if you enjoy experimenting and figuring things out then you can go ahead and get started right away,

or if you prefer to know exactly what you're doing first, you may prefer to hang back for a couple of days, and then check our forums to find out what others have discovered!

Special Reward!
As this is the final Fairy Tale, there is a special reward waiting for when you complete it - a Gnome Table!

But what is a Gnome Table you may ask? Well, it's exactly like a normal (raised) feeding table, but a little gnome has made it his home and lives inside...

you'll see him pop out from time to time to say hello!

The other great thing about the Gnome Table is that you can use it as a third feeding table in your garden (alongside 2 regular feeding tables)

meaning that you can create new kinds of Garden setup and attract more wildlife than ever before!

To complete the final Fairy Tale and get your very own Gnome Table, each of the Seven Dwarves must have been spotted 10 or more times in your Garden.

Have fun, and enjoy the final Fairy Tale!

What Is It?!
Friday June 28th

This cute little fella is new in Fairyland today!
But what is it, and more importantly, how do you attract it to your Garden?!
All we know if that it is attracted by a combination of 3 fully grown herbs ... but which 3 herbs are they? It's time to experiment!

Remember that this year, there are 2 possible Babies which can be born from each Birthstone, and for the Ruby Birthstone, it's Baby Red Squirrelsand Baby Ferrets!
For full details on how to use birthstones to make baby wildlife, please see the 'Babies' section of the Wildlife Guide.
Happy baby making!

Have fun, and enjoy the Fairy Tale of Three Billy Goats Gruff!

New Supershroom Option!
Friday May 31st

Have you already completed the "Butterfly" levels, and got lots of spare Forest Ruby Jewels left over?
Great news - there's now a new option in the Shoppe to exchange your spare Forest Rubies for Supershrooms!
Supershrooms are of course the ultimate Mushroom for deterring unwanted visitors from your Garden, so they don't come easily and need to be earned -
each one costs 10 Forest Rubies (or 5 Forest Ambers / Sunlights.)

Please note that you will only see this new option in the Shoppe after you have completed the Butterfly levels. So if you have not yet completed these, why not give them a go -

Friday May 10th

Need more Pink Diamonds or Fairy Tale Seeds? Enjoy a bit of a challenge?
Then the Fairyland Field Mouse has just the thing for you! Read on...
The Fairyland Field Mouse's Mini-Challenge
Hi there! I'm the Fairyland Field Mouse. You've probably seen me around a few times!

Listen, I have a fun little challenge for you... and if you can complete it successfully, 100 Pink Diamonds and a Fairy Tale Seed are yours!

The challenge is to get 7 different types of wildlife spotted on a feeding table in your Garden.

To succeed in this challenge, you'll need to plan very carefully. Think about which Garden setups will give you the best chance of attracting a variety of different wildlife (changing your setup part-way through the plate is one thing you could try.) And of course, you'll need a good bit of luck on your side too!

When you think you've completed the challenge, return to this page and click me below so I can check your Garden.

My challenge will only be running until the end of May, so if you'd like to have a go at it, don't delay!

as all feeding tables will immediately revert to normal (single) Pink Diamonds at that time!

Plant An Earth Flower For Earth Day 2013!
Monday April 22nd

Fairyland's Earth Flower is back again, just in time for Earth Day, which is today!
(They're available slightly later than usual due to a small technical hiccup over the weekend - apologies for this!)

The Earth Flower does not attract any new wildlife, however it does help to protect a larger amount of rainforest than your usual Fairyland flower

(10 sq ft per flower when harvested, which really adds up if everyone grows one!)

Taurus Zodiac Gifts Now Available!

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and the Taurus seed is now available in the gift shoppe for sharing with friends!

Both the spotter and the garden owner will receive double Pink Diamonds (the spotter will receive them at the time they spot the wildlife,
and the garden owner at the time they clear the feeding table.)
So if you're in need of more Pink Diamonds, now's a great time to earn a few extra - good luck!

Formosinia the Blossom Fairy Arrives In Fairyland!

Fairyland Expands Into Real-Life!
Monday April 1st

We're very excited today to announce an expansion of Fairyland into real-life wildlife spotting!
That's right - you can now spot wildlife in your real-life garden (or in your local park/woodland etc) and earn Diamonds!
How It Works
Whenever you spot any of the Fairyland wildlife in real-life, take a picture of it with a digital camera or smartphone, and email it to us on the special email address provided.
Our team will then verify your sighting and credit your Fairyland account with the correct number of Diamonds!
Only wildlife which are in the Fairyland Wildlife Guide will count (so if you spot a Rhinocerous in your back yard, it won't count as it's not in the Wildlife Guide,

but if you spot a Water Dragon or a Unicorn, you will earn Diamonds!)
Finally, we'll be awarding a very special prize to the first person who manages to spot all of the wildlife in our Wildlife Guide in real-life,
so don't delay - grab your camera and get spotting!
Update: Happy April Fool's day!

Thursday March 21st

Earth Hour is this Saturday at 8:30pm (your local time, wherever you are in the world.)

Thursday March 21st

If you'd like a nice new seasonal Hand-Painted pot, check the Pot Shoppe over the next few days for 3 new Limited Edition seasonal designs (a different one available each day, on rotation until the end of March.)

The Easter Bunny Arrives In Fairyland!
Monday March 18th

It's time to go Easter Bunny hunting again... attract him to your garden with flowering Daffodils,  which are now available for gifting!
Send Gifts
All harvested Daffodils give a small gift of Gold when harvested, so if you have space available in your Garden, it's worth growing a few!
While you're out and about hunting for the Easter Bunny, remember to keep an empty nest in your own Garden.

The Easter Bunny will then drop a decorated egg for you when you spot him, which will incubate in your nest.
Full details about the chicks which hatch from these eggs are in theSeasonal section of the Wildlife Guide.
Not finished building a nest yet? Don't worry - so that everyone can join the fun right away, you can get a ready-completed nest simply by clicking here!

(There's only one freebie nest per Garden, so if you need more nests then you'll have to get building... empty nesting trees are available in the gift shoppe!)

The Easter Bunny's Mini-Challenge

Hello, I'm the Fairyland Easter Bunny!
I heard that some Fairylanders would like to earn some "eggs"tra Fairytale seeds while enjoying an "egg"citing egg-hunting challenge,
so I have one right here for you!   I have both a r"egg"ular challenge and an "eggs"pert challenge, so you can choose whichever you prefer!
The challenge is to get either two (for the r"egg"ular challenge) or seven (for the "eggs"pert challenge) different colours of hatched eggs in nests in your
Garden at the same time.  So for "eggs"ample, to complete the r"egg"ular challenge, your Garden will need to have something like this:
When you have them in your Garden, return here and click my little egg icon below.
I'll then check your Garden and award your Fairytale Seeds if you've completed the challenge successfully.
You will get 1 Fairytale Seed for completing the r"egg"ular (2 eggshell) challenge, and a further 2 Fairytale seeds (so 3 in total)
if you complete the "eggs"pert challenge by getting seven different egg colours in your Garden at once.
This challenge will run until mid-April, so there's time for everyone to have a "crack" at it... good luck!"

Aries Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Sunday March 17th

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and the Aries seed is now available in the gift shoppe for sharing with friends!

Happy baby making!

Leprechaun's Challenge: 2 Days To Go!
Friday March 15th

Just a quick reminder that the Leprechaun's Challenge ends on Sunday, so if you want to have a go at earning an extra Fairytale Seed, be quick!
(Remember that you need to wait until your Shamrocks are "Fully Grown" before you will know whether you've got a lucky 4-leafer or not!)
And just in case you haven't noticed it already, there's also a new Limited Edition shamrock design in the hand-painted pot shoppe, also available until Sunday only!

And then on Monday, Fairyland's Easter Bunny will be back for his annual egg-stravaganza!

Leprechauns and Shamrocks!
Saturday March 9th

It's the time of year again when the Leprechauns pay a visit to Fairyland, and they can be spotted around the Gardens mischeivously stealing the veggies which have been left out for Wildlife!
Leprechauns are attracted to Gardens with fully grown Shamrocks, and these are available now for gifting to friends!
Send Gifts
Remember, every Shamrock harvested releases a Pot O' Gold. There's a 1 in 10 chance that a Shamrock will be of the lucky 4-leaf variety (these release more Gold than the 3-leaf ones when harvested!)
The Leprechaun's Mini-Challenge
Well hello there, I'm the friendly Fairyland Leprechaun!
I heard that some Fairylanders would like a way to earn a Fairytale seed with a little gardening challenge, so I have one right here for you!
All you need to do is grow two Shamrocks of the 4-leaf variety together in your Garden. Careful not to let any of them go Ready For Harvest - both of them need to be "fully grown" in your garden at the same time.
When you have two of them in your Garden together (be doubly sure that they both have 4 leaves!), return here and click my little shamrock icon below. I'll then check your Garden and award your Fairytale Seed if you've completed the challenge successfully.
My challenge will only run until March 17th, so don't delay... have fun and good luck to you!"

Amare The Love Fairy  Arrives In Fairyland!
Friday March 1st

Amare The Love Fairy is a surprise arrival in Fairyland today (Formosinia The Blossom Fairy was due to arrive this month, but she's decided to come next month instead!)
Amare is here to tell her tale of The Frog Prince !
So if you have completed the tasks from the second Fairy Tale (The Three Bears), then you can now attract Amare to your Garden by purchasing the new Fairytale Pot, and planting a Fairytale Seed in it (you'll also notice there's another new pot in the Shoppe - a nice large wooden one, which you'll need to leave empty in your Garden ready for when Amare arrives!)
Not got many Fairytale Seeds? Don't worry, because there will be a couple of extra mini-challenges coming later this month which you can complete for bonus Fairytale Seeds! (And also, every Handsome Prince you spot will earn you a Fairytale Seed, so it's worth figuring out how to find him!)
Have fun, and enjoy the Fairy Tale!
Note: By request, we've also made it so that you can only sprinkle "Diamond Dust"
on your own plants to speed their growth, and not plants in other Gardens.
This is because many people had reported problems with their well-timed garden setups being spoiled (unintentionally of course) by other people Diamond Dusting their plants.

Re-Use Your Fairytale Pots!
Wednesday February 13th

We've received a lot of requests to be able to re-use your Fairytale pots for growing regular Magical Mushrooms... so now you can!
(Note: Nothing special happens when you do this - it's just a nice way to re-use your favourite Fairytale Pots if you wish :)

Cupid Mouse's Valentine Challenge
Friday February 8th

Hi there, my name's Cupid Mouse!
You may already have seen me around in a few Gardens, but I'm especially busy this time of year as you can probably imagine, spreading the love all around Fairyland with my bow and heart-tipped arrows!
Listen - I have a little challenge for you, and if you can complete it successfully, I'll reward you with a Fairy Tale seed!
The challenge is to get 7 of my Valentines Roses flowering in your Garden at the same time. It's important they they are allflowering at the same time - don't let any of them go Ready For Harvest or they won't count!
As soon as you have 7, return to this page and click my little heart icon below and I'll check your Garden and give you your prize!
If you're not sure how to get the Valentines Roses, check my page in the Wildlife Guide, or ask around and someone is sure to help you :)
My challenge will run until the end of February, so there's plenty of time to choose a day that's good for you to attempt it.... Good luck!"
N.B. This challenge can only be done once, you will get this message when you have clicked on the heart icon.
Congratulations - Valentines challenge successfully completed! Your reward is: 1 Fairytale Seed

Love Is In The Air!
Thursday February 7th

Love is in the air in Fairyland - the Loveflower is now available again for sharing with friends!
When flowering, the Loveflower attracts beautiful Lovebirds to your Garden (remember to leave out some Bird Mix for them!)
And just like last year, you can give a secret Valentines Star-Dusting to any "Ready For Harvest" Loveflower
in any Garden in Fairyland... and the Garden Owner will be left guessing who did it!
Whose Loveflower(s)  will you Star-Dust this year, and will you receive a secret Valentines Star-Dusting yourself?!
Finally, remember that you can also use the Glass Vase from the Loveflower to attract Cupid Mouse
to your Garden (if you're not sure how to do this, details are in the Wildlife Guide)
New Valentines Challenge Arriving Tomorrow!
Cupid Mouse actually never completely left Fairyland since he first arrived last February, because Fairylanders successfully managed to keep growing enough Valentines Roses to keep him visiting year-round! So this year, he is planning a fun little extra Valentines challenge for everyone (and will be giving a Fairy Tale seed as a reward if you manage to complete it!) so look out for more details tomorrow...

Auricoma The Golden Fairy  Arrives In Fairyland!
Friday February 1st

Auricoma The Golden Fairy arrives in Fairyland today, to tell her tale of The Three Bears!
So if you have completed the tasks from the first Fairy Tale (The Three Little Pigs), then you can now attract Auricoma to your Garden

by purchasing the new Fairytale Pots, and planting Fairytale Seeds in them!
This Fairy Tale is a little more difficult than the previous one, so be sure to check carefully what is required, so you don't waste your precious Fairytale Seeds.
Have fun!

The First flower of Spring
Wednesday January 30th

As the winter season draws to a close in Fairyland, and the snow melts away,
the First Flowers of Spring  can be seen popping up around the Gardens!
Send Gifts
When flowering, the First Flower of Spring will attract the Groundhog to your Garden. (According to Fairyland Folklore, when the Groundhogs leave hibernation and begin visiting the Gardens again, it's a sure sign that winter will soon be over and spring is just around the corner!)

Also, when Ready For Harvest, the First Flower of Spring is capable of producing rain showers in your Garden... but remember that you need to have a cloud in your sky first (to get this, you'll need to have a Ready For Harvest Cumulus  flower in the 'White Marshmallow' pot) - there can't be any rain unless there's a cloud in the sky!

Aquarius Zodiac Gifts Now Available!
Friday January 18th

It's Zodiac time of the month again, and the Aquarius seed is now available in the gift shoppe for sharing with friends!

When 'Ready For Harvest', it will attract the Pelican to your Garden, which will drop a Amethyst Birthstone every 10th time you spot it in other Gardens!

Happy baby making!

It's a FREE SUPERFOOD Weekend!!
Friday January 11th

Fairyland's 5th Birthday celebrations wouldn't be complete without aFree Superfood Weekend... and one begins today!
Free Superfood Time Remaining: 2 days, 20 hours
Everyone can take advantage of the free Superfood, the only conditions are that you allow everyone to freely hunt  in your Garden (it's not available while your Garden is set to "private") and that you can't clear Superfood plates for at least 2 hours after they have been put out.
To get the free Superfood, simply refill your feeding tables as you usually would, and (assuming your Garden is public) you will see the "Free Superfood" option in the Shoppe!

On a separate note, we've been receiving a lot of feedback on our forums that "Fairytale Seeds" have become far
too easy to collect, because of a loophole where a garden could

be set up to attract Fairies indefinitely with just 1 Fairytale Seed (this would actually have made Fairytale Seeds ridiculously easy to earn during our  free Superfood weekend!) Another unfortunate side effect of this loophole being exploited was that many  people were therefore only  hunting for Fairies and not for the other Fairytale Wildlife,
which meant that lots of gardens were sadly having their Fairytale wildlife missed completely :(

So the Fairies have found a solution to this problem, and they will now only drop a Fairytale Seed the very first time
you spot them instead of every 10th time, thereby

encouraging everyone to hunt all the other Fairytale Wildlife  instead to find Fairytale Seeds (Little Pigs & Wolves all still drop a seed for every 10th spot :)
This will hopefully  make the Fairytale Seeds a little more challenging and precious to find once again :)

Finally (just in case you were already well on your way to spotting 10 Fairies to get your next Fairytale Seed)
the gift below contains a free one to make up for it :)
Thanks for the feedback and for your patience while we iron out the little problems with the new Fairy Tales. Enjoy the Free Superfood Weekend!

Fairyland Fairy Tales!
Wednesday January 2nd

We're celebrating Fairyland's 5th Birthday this month, and our big birthday surprise has just arrived!
Mystery Seeds have now become Fairytale Seeds and they've opened up a whole new world of Fairy Tales in Fairyland!
Haven't found any Fairytale Seeds yet? Don't worry - we're giving everyone a couple of extra free ones to help you get started :)

The first Fairy Tale is The Three Little Pigs, which is told by Esteparata The Wise Fairy.
Here's a quick guide to the Fairy Tales, and how to get started:
Fairytale Seeds & Fairytale Pots
Mystery Seeds (dropped by Albino Wildlife, and now also the Fairytale Wildlife) have now become "Fairytale Seeds". You can find yours in the Misc section of the Seed Shoppe.
These need to be planted in the new Fairytale Pots, which are available now in the Pot Shoppe.
Fairytale Pots are purchased with Pink Diamonds, and the first ones are very cheap - only 5 Pink Diamonds each. As you progress through the Fairy Tale levels, more Pink Diamonds will be needed to purchase the pots, so keep collecting them!
The Fairytale Seed will grow into a Fairytale Toadstool (which won't do much... until it's Ready For Harvest!)
Be careful not to confuse Fairytale Toadstools with Magical Mushrooms... they're completely different things in Fairyland, and you will still need to use

a Magical Mushroom to deter mice!

Fairies & Fairytale Wildlife
When a Fairytale Toadstool is Ready For Harvest  in your Garden, leave out some Wild Berries on a feeding table,
and you will attract a Fairy (be sure that you only leave out the Wild Berriesafter the Toadstool has become Ready For Harvest, otherwise they will just go to waste.)
When the Fairy is spotted in your Garden, she will harvest the fruit of the Fairytale Toadstool for you, and then sit upon the toadstool as she tells her Fairy Tale!
The item she harvested and placed in your Garden will then begin attracting the wildlife which feature in her Fairy Tale :)

Have Fun!
This has just been a very brief introduction to Fairyland's Fairy Tales... you will discover everything else for yourself as you embark upon your journey through the different Fairy Tale challenges!
As a final note, please remember that Fairyland's Fairy Tales are a long-term challenge. Fairytale seeds and Pink Diamonds  take time to collect, so you won't just be able to complete a Fairy Tale in 10 minutes - you'll need to complete them over time at your own pace, returning to them as and when you have collected enough Fairytale seeds / Pink Diamonds to complete the next part of the challenge.  We hope that you enjoy Fairyland's Fairy Tales, and wish you much fun and new friendships on your journey!

Note: The Food Shoppe now stocks Wild Berries instead of Nuts. Any wildlife which previously  ate Nuts will now happily eat Bird Mix instead :)
