Ever thought about what wildlife is attracted by a certain garden set-up?
You can check it on the wildlife calculator http://myarduinoprojects.com/wildlifecalculator/index.html |
If any text is ever too small to read comfortably, press the CTRL and the + key at the same time to increase the size.
Pressing CTRL and the - key at the same time will make it smaller.

How do I Level-Up My Garden?
Your Garden will advance to the next level once the current Level-Up Plant is harvested. Make sure you double check, some levels have more than one requirement.
Level up requirements are listed down at the bottom of the page on the right of your garden wall. They can also be seen by clicking "garden level" on the toolbar.

How do I harvest my plants?
When a plant is 'Ready for Harvest', an option to harvest it will become available in the menu that opens when you hover over the plant. Just clicking on it will harvest the plant. Plants do not need to be harvested straight away, they can be left in the garden for unlimited amount of time (they just need to be watered once in awhile).
Cacti can only be harvested when the flower is open, so you will need to catch them at the right time to harvest.
Some plants will attract wildlife only once they are 'Ready for Harvest', so it is a good idea to check the guide and see if that is the case. You may want to keep those ones in the garden for longer.

Can I rearrange the plants in my Garden?
Yes, plants can be rearranged. When you hover the mouse over the plant, in the plant popup window that opens you will see it has little arrows next to the plant's name -
< Plant Name >clicking on those arrows will move the plant to the left or to the right.
< Plant Name >clicking on those arrows will move the plant to the left or to the right.
How do I attract wildlife to my Garden?
You will need attracting plants, a feeding table and food. See our wildlife pages to find out how to attract specific wildlife.
How do I find gold?
How do I find diamonds?
The best way to find diamonds is to set-up your garden for wildlife and to find wildlife in other gardens.
It is also possible to get some diamonds in garden games and the Magical Mushrooms game accessable from the Find Gold page.
Sometimes you will get a bonus diamond with 3 hour gold.

How do I spot wildlife?
You need to visit some gardens and water plants. If wildlife is there when you visit, you will always spot it when you water the first plant. If you don't find anything when you first water it's very unlikely you will spot anything if you immediately water the other ones. It wastes your gold as well!
You do, however, want to water a second plant if you find wildlife on the first watering (only if there are two feeding tables in the garden).
See our hunting section for more tips on how to spot wildlife and how to not waste too much gold doing it.

Why does one plant in the Garden have a darker colored bar in the title popup than the other plants?
One of the plants in the garden will have red pop-up title instead of an orange. It means that particular plant is the thirstiest one - it will wilt first (or is already wilting and will die first).
It may not be the plant which was watered the longest time ago. Plants have different times they can go without watering before they wilt. So a plant which wilts in 24 hours will have a red popup title sooner than a plant which wilts in 96 hours.

How can I make my plants grow faster?
Plants can be made to grow faster with Diamond Dust and Fruiting Dust, both available from the Shoppe ~ they cost 6 diamonds per sprinkle.
Diamond Dust will halve the first phase of growth (from planted to 'Fully Grown') and can be used multiple times. It can also be used on some of your friends' plants (but not all of them).
Fruiting Dust can only be used once per plant. It will halve the second phase of growth (from 'Fully Grown' to 'Ready for Harvest'). Fruiting Dust cannot be used on friends' plants.
Dusts are most useful if sprinkled on plants just after they are planted or entered 'Fully Grown' phase - it will take the most time off the total at that point.

What are Wildlife Levels?
Wildlife Levels are unlocked by attracting and spotting wildlife. Each one also unlocks a new Mushroom. If you click your wildlife status on the toolbar, it will give you a list of Wildlife levels and you will also see how many diamonds you have towards your next one.

I am getting grey flowers! (Levels 14 - 17)
In these levels, you need to figure out the right pots for your Preacocias. See our Preacocia's help page for tips on how to find those. Or, if you want to, you can always make use of the Fairyland Calculator - it will tell you the right pots for your garden.
My newsfeed says that I watered while wildlife was there but I didn't spot it!
Make sure you are looking at the times correctly - it's easy to get confused and make a mistake.
The times in Newsfeed and on Feeding tables are shown 'backwards' (for example, 1 hour ago) rather than actual time (at 12:01 am). The seconds are not displayed at all - so if wildlife is missed by seconds, it might appear someone watered while it was there as well.
So, for example, if wildlife arrived 2 hour 30 minutes ago and stayed for 20 minutes and you watered 2 hour 40 minutes ago, it means wildlife arrive 10 minutes after you watered.
2 hour 40 minutes ago - you watered
2 hour 30 minutes ago - wildlife arrived
2 hour 10 minutes ago - wildlife left after staying for 20 minutes
It's also possible the timings will show you watered 40 minutes ago and wildlife arrived 40 minutes ago and wasn't spotted. It means you must have watered just seconds before wildlife arrived in the garden.
If you are still confused about timings, please visit the ALFF Group facebook page and ask for clarification - someone will be able to help you.

I harvested all plants required for level-up, but I have stayed at the same level.
You probably missed some required plants. Check again.
Some levels have multiple requirements and it's easy to get confused. If a few different colours/types are required, make sure you harvested all colors/types - it's easy to miss one. If you harvested all colors, make sure there isn't another plant you need to harvest - some levels have a few. Also, make sure you really harvested all your plants - some might be still growing in your garden, if you remember planting them.
If you are not sure why you didn't level up, visit the ALFF Group Facebook page and ask for help.

Is my Garden more unlucky than others?
(From Fairyland's help page)
All Gardens work in exactly the same way - no Garden is luckier or unluckier than any other.
Obviously, being a game of chance, everyone will get short term runs of good luck and bad luck, and these will happen at different times for different players. But in the long run, this will all even out.
If however you are getting an extended run of bad luck, then it's worth checking your garden setup as you may have made a mistake (for example, common mistakes are accidentally deterring the wildlife which you are trying to attract, or using the incorrect type of feeding table.) Or you may simply be trying to attract wildlife which is "very rare" and only ever visits occasionally anyway (always check in the Wildlife Guide and it will tell you how rare each type of wildlife is.)

I cannot post in the Fairyland Wildlife Advertising Section
There is a 15 minute limit for advertising in wildlife sections. It was introduced to minimise people posting very often. After 15 minutes, it will be possible to post garden advert again - on the same wildlife page or a different one.
The News section has the 15 minute limit as well.

I cannot buy/plant particular seed
Some plants are only available for planting in your garden once. If you have harvested one before, or have one growing in your garden, you won't be able to get another one (this applies to Opis plants). Other plants have some restrictions on planting them.Mushrooms are available once you harvested previous mushroom, wildlife attracted to it are spotted in your garden and you had at least one spotted in another garden (not your own!). You also have to reach certain wildlife level for each mushroom. Jewels/Enchanted Jewels can only be planted once the requirements are met as well. You have to harvest previous one, have wildlife spotted in your garden and spot wildlife in another garden (not your own!). You also have to find Jewel seed, they are dropped when you find 10 of certain wildlife. There are also some Seasonal and Zodiac plants, they are only available at certain times of the year. Once they expire, you won't be able to get another one until next year. Birthday seed is only available a week before your fairy's birthday, you must plant it in that week.
I am set up for particular wildlife but it isn't showing up!
It's easy to make a mistake - make sure your garden set-up is correct. Check wildlife page for the particular wildlife and check whether you have correct plants and are your plants in correct phase of growth (some attract while 'Fully Grown'. some while 'Ready for Harvest'). Also check whether there is any plant in your garden which might be detering the wildlife.
Check whether you have the right food for wildlife on the right feeding table.
For some wildlife, you will need more than one attracting plant - it's always a good idea to have at least two (more is better!).
A Fully Grown (FG) Mushroom will help to eliminate mice and make sure more of wildlife you are attracting show up.
If you are attracting too much wildlife, it will be hard to attract. Try to concentrate on one or two at a time.
Also, if wildlife you are trying to attract is very rare, it might take awhile even with perfect garden set-up!
If you are not sure whether you are set-up correctly, visit our Facebook page and ask for help.

I can't seem to attract the rare Wildlife!
(from Fairyland's help page)
If it's listed in the Wildlife Guide as "Rare" or "Very Rare", then that's exactly what it is! Even when you have the correct plants and food out in your Garden, there are no guarantees of attracting that wildlife immediately - it may take time.
There are often many things you can do to improve your chances however. Remember to do things like plant more than one of the plants which attract the wildlife you're after, check that you're not accidentally attracting any other "common" wildlife which might get to the food first, and use the lower/raised tables wisely. Working your way through the "Magical Mushrooms" to get to the more powerful "mouse deterrents" is also a very good idea too!
And of course, be sure to read carefully the special "help" section in the Wildlife Guide, which gives invaluable advice on increasing your chances.

I can't sprinkle Gold
Some people had been creating fake Facebook accounts just to create new gardens, collect its gold, and transfer it to their main account. It violates Facebook terms and conditions and could have gotten the Fairyland App suspended for encouraging people to create fake accounts. Restrictions were added because of this.
If you purchase gold, you will be able to sprinkle anyone!

The time between wildlife visits is getting longer
(From Fairyland's Help page)
We often receive this comment, and we're not too sure why! (We actually speeded up wildlife visits considerably in a couple of game updates, and have never slowed them down!)
We think that this is mixup is probably just caused by a trick of the memory or perception, so to assure everyone that gaps do not get longer, we have published both the overall maximum time a plate of food will be eaten in, and also the maximum possible gap between any 2 wildlife visits, for each food type.
Food Type Max Time Between Visits
Regular Food (5 Wildlife in 24 hours) 8 Hours
Double Regular Food (10 Wildlife in 48 hours) 8 Hours
Organic Food (5 Wildlife in 18 hours) 6 hours
Double Organic Food (10 Wildlife in 36 hours) 6 hours
Superfood (15 Wildlife in 24 hours) 3 Hours

My diamonds/gold are missing!
You might have spent it and just forgot about it. Its really easy to do that! Lets see where it might have gone:
Diamonds: did you buy a garden game or revived any wilters using diamonds? You might have also bought some diamond or fruiting dust. You can check under the mushroom in the upper left hand corner to see how many DD or FD are sitting in your "bank".
Gold: you might have refilled you food plates or watered a few more gardens than you realised. Also, if you are using tabs, the toolbar will only update once you refresh the page, so it might appear as if more than 1 gold was taken after watering one plant. You may have also bought gold dust. You can check under the mushroom in the upper left hand corner to see how many GD are sitting in your "bank".
If you notice you are repeatedly losing gold or diamonds, please contact the developer and report the situation.

Technical problems
Fairyland box disappeared from my profile.
Facebook is removing the Boxes applications, and the new profile does not have tabs either. The Fairyland box will not be available anymore (or any other boxes from other applications). That is a Facebook prerogative to remove stuff whenever they want unfortunately.

Getting errors/page loading problems.
Somedays Facebook is just glitchy, and there is not much anyone can do about it. You can check your newsfeed from your homepage to see if other friends are posting similar issues. If not and you are getting errors while loading pages or pages don't load correctly (missing or incorrect pictures, links not working, etc), you can try some of these things:
'Hard refresh' page. Press CTRL + F5 on your keyboard. It will reload a page from the server and it solves loading problems very often.
If it doesn't help, the next thing to try is clearing your browser cache and cookies. Facebook has a page to help here (it has instructions for a few most popular browsers).
You can also try a different browser. Fairyland recommends these:
Google Chrome
Safari
Firefox
(also make sure you are using the latest version of the browser if you are already using one of those - some older versions might not display some pages properly!)
If above suggestions doesn't help, go to Fairyland Forums and report your problem using the discussion board at the bottom of the page (Bug Reports). It is checked regularly and hopefully developers will be able to fix your problem soon.

Other Questions
Q. Can I use Fairyland on my phone?
A. Fairyland does not officially support mobile phones, but since it does not require flash to play, it should work on most phones.
You should go to the full Facebook page rather than a mobile version to access Fairyland. Make sure you have the latest version of the browser installed and JavaScript is enabled.
If you can't get it to work with the default browser on your phone, try installing a different one. Many Fairyland players found Bolt Browser works for them. If you go to www.boltbrowser.com/ from your phone, you will get the download link for your phone model.

Q: I haven't received Gold I bought via PayPal
A: The mechanism for buying Gold is 100% managed by the Fairyland application (via PayPal), and is very reliable. Your Gold is usually credited instantly (although there can sometimes be a few minutes delay.)
On the rare occasion that something goes wrong and you don't receive your Gold automatically, please contact them at
[email protected]
(remember to include your PayPal receipt in the message) and they'll get back to you within 1 working day to resolve the problem.
Q: I haven't received Gold I bought via Mobile Phone
A: If you attempted to purchase Gold via mobile phone, but you didn't receive the Gold within about 15 minutes, then you should try to check (if possible) whether a charge has definitely been applied to your phone bill. Sometimes transactions fail to complete meaning that you don't get the Gold, but neither will you have been charged. (Many mobile phone operators offer online statements of charges where you can see an up-to-date phone bill, or you may simply be able to call your phone operator's customer support line to check.)
If you have definitely been charged, but no Gold has been credited, then return to the "Buy By Mobile Phone" page and click the "View Offer Status" link.
This will take you to a page from where you can send an inquiry about your missing Gold. Remember to include as much info as possible in your inquiry, such as transaction references, the time you made the purchase etc and they will be able to help you from there.
Q: PayPal won't let me pay with the same card any more
A: If you haven't registered with PayPal, then they will still allow you to pay by entering your card details each time, but they will only allow you to do this a few times before they require that you register with them (for security reasons.)
Registering with PayPal is easy, free and secure, and once you've done that, they will allow you to pay using that card as often as you wish in the future.
Q: Can I buy Gold for someone else?
A: Yes! Fairyland recently added an option to the Buy Gold page such that you can have it immediately credited to a friend's account instead of your own. Simply visit the Buy Gold page, and you'll see the option to select the friend to credit near the bottom of the page. If you ever notice that you cannot find your friends name in the dropdown list, double check and ensure they are on your friends list. If they are, and they still do not appear in the dropdown on the Buy Gold page this is because you have more than 500 friends playing Fairyland. You can buy the gold for your own account and then contact [email protected] and ask them to credit it to that friend. (they will need your friends facebook ID#)
Q: I have a suggestion for the app
A: That's great! Fairyland has been built and continually improved based upon suggestions from everyone who enjoys it. You'll find a "suggestions/feedback" board on their forums page (second from bottom.)
Q: I've found a glitch/bug in the app
A: Firstly, Fairyland's Developer wishes to apologize for the glitch and hopes it hasn't spoiled your enjoyment of Fairyland too much!
They suggest that you browse through the rest of the items on the help page to check whether your problem is addressed there. If it is not, then they ask that you please post as much detail about the problem as you can on the "Technical Support" board at the bottom of their forums page, including the steps to take to reproduce the problem, and details of which browser you are currently using. If you don't receive an answer to your problem on there, and you are continuing to experience the problem, then you can contact the developer directly by clicking the "contact" link at the bottom of the page.
If your problem is more of a question than a bug report then try the discussion board near the top of their forums page where there are many helpful folk to be found!
Q: I love Fairyland - where can I leave nice feedback?
A: Fairyland is glad you're enjoying Fairyland! They ask that you do head over to their reviews page and leave them a nice 5-star review... they enjoy receiving nice feedback!
Q: How do I invite friends to Fairyland?
A: Click link below to go to the invites page
http://apps.facebook.com/fbfairy/invite.php
Q: How do I upload my own Fairyland character "avatar" instead of the default one?
A: You can upload your own image from the link below
http://apps.facebook.com/fbfairy/choose.php
Q: Can I add people as friends through the app?
A: Fairyland is a very sociable place, but the app also respects the fact that many people don't wish to receive lots of friend requests from people they only know through an application. Therefore, they do not currently provide a direct mechanism for adding another user as a Facebook friend. Instead, you can simply add the Gardens of new friends to your "Favorite Gardens" list, so you can easily return to them whenever you wish.
They also recommend that you invite your existing Facebook friends to join you in the app - it's a great way to keep in regular contact!
Q: The text on the menu bar and popup are fuzzy!
A: Are you using Firefox? If so, then you may have inadvertently zoomed the page at some point, which would make images fuzzy.
To fix this, simply press ctrl-0 (That's a zero, rather than the letter O!)
Q: How do I remove the app?
A: If you no longer wish to play, you have 2 options: Freeze your Garden. To do this, click the "freeze time" button (a blue clock icon) in your Garden - you can then easily come back to it in the future if you wish! or you can Remove the app (just like you would remove any other Facebook app - click your Applications menu in the bottom left of the page and select "Edit Applications")
Q: Can I block someone from my Garden?
A: It's extremely rare for problems to happen in Fairyland, but should you find you have someone leaving unwanted messages in your Garden, you can choose to block them from your Fairyland Profile/Garden entirely.
To do this, view their Fairyland Profile (by clicking their name anywhere it appears in the app, such as on a wallpost or a Garden newsfeed) and under their profile picture you'll see the option to block.
Q: Can I make my Garden private to myself and my friends only?
A: If you wish to make your Garden private (so it's accessible only to you and your Facebook friends), click the "Edit Name/Description" button in your Garden, and at the bottom of the "Garden Details" box, you'll see there's now an option to make your Garden private.
Remember that when your Garden is private, it won't appear in the "Gardens with Wilting Plants" list - so it's up to you and your friends to ensure that your plants don't die!
You can of course make your Garden public again in the future should you wish to do so.
Q: I lost some Gold due to an error
A: Fairyland's Developer has tried to make the application as resilient as possible to the page loading errors which happen on Facebook from time to time. However, it's not possible to cater for every eventuality and sometimes an error may occur which results in players losing a Gold coin or two.
They regret that this happens sometimes, but unfortunately it's not possible for them to "refund" Gold lost in this way - you can probably imagine that it would simply be impossible for them to investigate and resolve every claim made! If you lose a little Gold to a Facebook error occasionally, please remember that the application makes more free Gold available every few hours, so it will soon be replaced :)
However, if the error happens every time you use the app rather than just occasionally, then please report it in the Technical Support section on the forums page, as it may be a bug in the application!

Q: How does the Rainforest protection work?
A: For every plant that is successfully grown in every Garden, Fairyland pledges to donate a small amount of money to adopt and protect an area of rainforest. The area adopted is quoted in square feet (sq ft) and depends upon which plant was grown - plants which are more difficult to grow (in the higher "Garden Levels") will usually result in a greater area being adopted.
The donation itself is made bi-monthly, when they calculate the total area of rainforest adopted by all Gardens and then make a donation to adopt an equivalent area of rainforest.
The donation is made to the Nature Conservancy's "Adopt An Acre" programme, which is currently helping to protect the rainforests of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica from deforestation. They make their donations via the Facebook "Causes" application - to view their Causes page, with confirmation of their donations to date, click here.
Please note that Fairyland is in no way affiliated with the Nature Conservancy - they have simply selected their "Adopt An Acre" program as an appropriate and worthwhile cause to support.
Q: Why does the "sq ft" per plant harvested sometimes change?
A: Fairyland's Developer needs to ensure that the revenue generated by the application (which comes from advertising and from Gold purchases) covers all the running costs of the application, including the donations they pledge to make to adopt Rainforest. Their revenue is not always predictable (online advertising revenues at the moment are extremely low, for example) which means they sometimes need to adjust the amount they pledge to donate accordingly to ensure that they don't give away more than they can afford!
Note that they never apply these changes retrospectively - all the Rainforest players have saved so far will stay saved - any changes they make will only apply to plants grown from that point onwards.
Finally, it's important to realize that the costs of running an application such as Fairyland (e.g. their infrastructure of servers, development costs etc) are far greater than the amount which they give away in donations - the fact that they are able to support a good cause is great, but their first priority will always be to invest in keeping the application running well and continuing to develop it. Otherwise, there would be no Fairyland at all!
Q: How do I know you're actually making the donations pledged?
A: Fairyland makes their donations through Facebook's "Causes" application which is a trusted and very popular fundraising application on Facebook.
Q: What are the guidelines for posting on the Fairyland Forum Boards?
Discussion Board Rules
We provide the Forums on this page for the enjoyment of everyone in Fairyland. Their purpose is to enhance the game by providing a place to share information and advice, meet new players and have fun.
Important: The forums are not an 'anything goes' place where you can post whatever you like - each forum section is provided in order to serve a very specific purpose, as described in its heading.
Below are a few general rules which apply to all forum sections. Posts which break these rules will be deleted, and may result in a forum ban for the poster if deemed necessary:
You may not post anything which violates either Facebook's terms of service, our our own terms of service
You may not post profanity (even if you use asterisks, change a letter in the word etc, it's still offensive to many.)
You may not create posts about other players (problems with other players must be reported to us privately, not posted in public) You may not insult anyone
You may not post anything which is offensive to others
You may not post 'spam' (e.g. advertising other websites, products, services etc)
You may not use fake accounts (if discovered doing this, ALL of your accounts, including your real one, will be deleted from the Fairyland application permanently.)
Do not make inflammatory posts (i.e. posts to intentionally 'stir up' problems)
Please ensure your post is relevant to the forum section you post it in. (If there isn't a forum section for it, then it probably shouldn't be posted on these forums!)
Please do not continually 'bump' old threads (i.e. by posting something on the end of an older thread but without adding anything of value.) We will delete threads which are being artificially held on the front page so that everyone gets a fair chance on the forums.
Please keep posts within threads on-topic and relevant. Threads which go completely off-topic will be removed.
Please avoid posting in ALL CAPITALS (i.e. 'shouting' above others.)
Please try not to create multiple threads on the same subject - we suggest always having a quick check for an existing thread on your topic first :)
And above all, please ensure that you always use the forums in a respectful manner, keeping them fun and friendly for everyone to use.
These rules are pretty much the same as you'd find in any moderated online forum. The list of rules is not exhaustive, and is intended as a guideline only. Our moderators will, in their sole and absolute discretion, delete any posts which violate the rules or go against the overall purpose of the forums. If a post of yours is deleted, you should consider it a warning, and you may find yourself blocked from the forums in the event of any further problems.

Q: How can I change my Garden Picture?
A: From your garden page, on the right under the actual picture of your fairy and your profile pic is says: About This Garden [edit name/description] [edit picture] Click the link edit name. It then gives you the option of which of your albums to upload it from (its best to set the album privacy to "everyone"). Make sure the picture is the right size (200KB or smaller) and it is in the right format (GIF, JPG or PNG). Make sure you have permission to use the picture or it is free to use public domain. artwork. It doesn't cost anything to change it.
Q: How can I change my fairy’s name?

Make sure you have permission to use the picture or it is free to use public domain. artwork. It does not cost any of the diamonds or gold that you have to change it.
Q: How do I add fairy friends and how do I stop them seeing all of my profile?
A: Fairyland does not recommend that you randomly add people for game application unless you know how to restrict your privacy settings so they cannot access your personal information, and even then it is at your own risk. Please see the tutorial ALFF created for your convenience on that subject. If your real life friends use facebook you can always ask them if you may add them. You can search for them in Facebook's friends search and add them making sure you write a message as to why you are adding them. If you do not wish people to see all your profile: you go into your friends listings and make a list, and add the people you wish to exclude from certain parts of your profile. Then go into privacy settings and customize the settings – exclude the friends list from each part of your profile you do not wish them to see- the tutorial gives a much clearer explanation of how to do this.
Q: My Mushroom doesn't deter mice!
A: No mushroom is 100% effective against mice. But as you work your way through the Magical Mushrooms (which are unlocked one by one by performing the tasks described in the Shoppe) you will find that they gradually become more powerful at deterring mice, making it easier for you to attract rarer wildlife.
Remember that the deterrent effect only works when the mushroom is "Fully Grown" - it no longer deters mice/mallards when "Ready For Harvest", or whilst growing.
The other thing to remember is that deterring mice is only half of the story. You still need to set your Garden up well in order to attract other wildlife, else you'll still just get lots of mice (if you weren't attracting anything else at all, then mice would be the only wildlife with any attraction to your Garden, so you'd still get loads of them!)
A common misunderstanding is that although (for example) the Pink Cap will reduce the mouse attraction power of your Garden by a whopping 90% (thus effectively making them all "very rare"), this doesn't necessarily mean that you will get only 1 mouse in every 10 visits. It very much depends on what else you have in your Garden (plus of course, a large dose of luck!) So if you're only attracting other "very rare" wildlife, then you may still get a fair few mouse visits, since the mice have effectively become just another type of "very rare" wildlife, so relative to each other, you may get similar numbers of each (though you can better your odds by having multiple attraction plants!) However, if your Garden is well set up for attracting "average" wildlife, then you should get very few visits from those "very rare" mice indeed :)
In summary, the main concept to understand is that attraction powers are all relative to each other (rather than absolute) and the skill of the game is in strategic Garden planning and figuring out what combination's will bring you the best rewards most often.
Q: How do I plant a seed in an empty pot?
A: Whilst in your Garden, simply click on the empty pot and you'll see the option to buy a seed for it! (You can only plant new seeds in your own Garden, not in friends' Gardens.)
Q: My plants wilted before they should have done!
A: The most common cause of this problem is that, although you may have watered only a few hours ago, you didn't actually water all of your plants - you either only did the thirstiest ones, or accidentally missed one (it's very easy to do!)
If you think your plants have wilted when they shouldn't have done, remember to check your "Garden Newsfeed", paying particular attention to how many of your plants you watered on your last visit and how long ago that visit was. You should find that if one wilted, it was indeed because it hadn't been watered recently enough.
Finally, contrary to popular belief, the Fairyland clock is exactly the same as the human clock - time doesn't pass any more quickly in Fairyland than it does in the human world!
Q: I can't see any flower graphics, or any wildlife graphics, or the menu at the top of the page etc.
A: Check you haven't accidentally "blocked" their image server in your browser! This problem occurs most frequently in Firefox, since it's quite easy to accidentally block all images in that browser. To unblock images, do the following:
In your Firefox menu, go to Tools/Options/Content then click the "exceptions" button next to "Load images automatically" and look to see if the following URL is blocked:
d1fwenneh3yjb3.cloudfront.net
If it is, just remove that block and all should be fine.
Q: I find that looking after my Garden is a little stressful!
A: The very last thing that Fairyland should be is stressful!
If you find yourself worrying about getting to a computer often enough or trying to find enough Gold to look after your Garden, perhaps try growing one or two less plants at the same time. Many people who can't visit their Garden every day find that a Garden of around 3-4 plants rather than the full 7 or 8 is much more manageable, since it doesn't matter if they wilt occasionally! A Garden full of plants is only really for those who are able to visit regularly and/or have a lot of friends using the app with whom they can share the watering duties!
Q: My Wildlife arrives at night when I'm asleep!
A: Wildlife arrives in Gardens all around the clock regardless of your timezone, which may mean it arrives in your Garden at night when you're asleep. Remember that one of the ideas behind Fairyland is that you can build friendships with others from around the world, so even when you're asleep you will have friends in other timezones keeping your plants watered and spotting your wildlife!
