New Year Flowers Now Available!
Wednesday December 27th Celebrate the new year (and Fairyland's 16th birthday on January 1st!) by planting a New Year flower! Send Gifts
The New Year Flower does not attract any wildlife so will not affect your current garden setup... but it will bring a beautiful firework display to your Garden in time to celebrate the new year. Also, just a reminder that if you have built a Festive Tree this year, you can now open the gift under it if you haven't already done so. (It's best opened as soon as possible as this particular gift expires at the end of 2023.) Wishing everyone a very happy 2024... let's see what the coming year will bring in Fairyland! |
Holiday Calendar Improvement!
Wednesday December 6th
Festive Wildlife have been proving quite difficult to spot this year for lighting up Calendar lights.
So the Wildlife have had a think how they can help, and found the solution!
From now, they will also unlock a new colour light whenever you attract them in your own Garden,
as well as when you spot them in other Gardens :)
So when you open your door each day and discover which Wildlife is hiding behind, ensure you have the correct food/plants
out for that Wildlife in your own Garden too, to get a little extra help with lighting your lights for that day.
Note: spotting in your own Garden will not count - you must either spot today's Wildlife in another garden,
or another player must spot it in yours.
Happy Fairylight Building!

Fairyland's Holiday Calendar Is Back
(With New Fairylights And New Features!) Friday December 1st Fairyland's Holiday Calendar is back again... with a beautiful new "Stars and Moons" design and a couple of nice new features: You can "Go Back 1 Day" if your door closes before you manage to unlock the colour you wanted, and continue from where you left off
How it works
Each day throughout December, open the calendar door and behind it will be hiding one of the Fairyland Winter Wildlife. You then have 12 hours before the door closes again, and during this time your quest is to spot this wildlife in other gardens - the first one you spot will light up that day's Fairylight in your Garden, setting it to red. If you wish, you can then unlock more Fairylight colours (Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet and finally White - 8 colours in all) with each additional spot of that wildlife. You can unlock as many or as few of the 8 each day as you like - unlocking as many as you can gives you the most colour options later when designing your lights. Finally, when the calendar is fully completed (after the final door closes), you also have the ability to "freeze" your lights as a background effect, so you can keep the lights in your Garden without needing to use a valuable space for the Calendar (and if you already have last year's lights frozen in your background, there's no need to use a Star Dust to freeze the new lights, and you can also switch between different years' lights whenever you choose :) Happy Fairylight-designing! |
It's Time To Decorate The Tree!
Thursday November 30th Fairyland's Festive Trees are back again - and as usual, a small gift can be found under each completed tree, which can be opened later this month! Get started right away by sharing some trees with your friends: Send Gifts
If it's your first time decorating the tree, then you can find details about how to do it after you have planted one in your Garden. You only need to complete one tree to get the gift - it's not necessary to complete multiple trees, unless just for fun or decoration! Important: you must plant and decorate a brand new tree to get this year's gift - if you continue with a partially completed tree from last year, then you won't get the gift. Happy decorating! |
Poinsettias, Ice Flowers & Snowmen!
Tuesday November 28th The Fairyland winter season is upon us again, and our usual wintery seasonal items have started appearing in the Gift Shoppe! First up, the Poinsettia: Send Gifts

Our regular Ice Flowers are also now available: While flowering, the Ice Flower will bring a beautiful flurry of snow to your Garden, attracting cold-weather wildlife such as the Arctic Fox and the Arctic Hare. And as usual, whenever the snow is falling in your Garden, any Mice & Mallards visiting will be dressed in their best festive outfits, and will give double diamonds when spotted! And finally, you can now build Snowmen (and Snow-women) again! Not sure how to build a Snowman? Put one in your Garden, and it will have a "Help" link which you can click to get all the info you need. |

A Few Small Improvements!
Friday July 28th
A few improvements have been made over the past week or two, worth noting here in case you didn't notice them yet:
Premium Fairy Dust (Gold Dust, Diamond Dust, Fruiting Dust) can now be converted back to their original currency from the Shoppe.
The Shoppe also now prevents you buying more Gold Dust than you are able to sprinkle
(only purchased Gold may be sprinkled as Gold Dust)
Time Until Ready For Harvest can now be viewed by clicking on the percentage shown for the plant in your garden.
This is especially useful for mobile devices (tablets/phones) where this information was not previously visible.
The Preferences Page contains an amended 'Safety Lock' feature (replacing the old 'Less Confirmations' feature),
which prevents you accidentally deleting some valuable items - Collectable Pots / Topiaries (from stage 2 onwards).
We recommend enabling this lock, and you can easily switch it off temporarily if you want to delete any of these items.
With the lock enabled, you will still see the Discard buttton on these items, but clicking it will give you the message
that the Safety Lock is currently enabled.
A new Blocks Page (accessible under the Mushroom icon, top left corner) is available where you can view players
you may have blocked in the past and unblock them if you wish (note: the exception is Superblocks, which cannot be removed,
but you can view them from this page)
Pot Storage can now have up to 300 shelves (enough for 2100 items!) This is likely the maximum possible now, so if you get
near this new limit, it's definitely time for a clear-out!
Plus there are a number of other minor cosmetic improvements, such as the Marketplace not scrolling to the top every time
you click on a pot to see listings :)

Sunflowers and New Art Pots!
Friday June 23rd Sunflower gifts are now available again for sending to friends! Send Gifts
While fully grown, the Sunflower will bring the Sun out in your Garden, and the Mice and Mallards will be taking shade under their Mushrooom Parasols!
Seasonal Quest Alert!
The seasonal quest "Fun In The Sun" is also open again. Different variations on this quest are available at a few different levels, but only until the end of September, while the Sunflowers are still available in the Gift Shoppe. |
It's Summertime In Fairyland!
Wednesday June 21st The Summer Solstice is upon us (in the northern hemisphere) which is officially the first day of Summer in Fairyland! This means our Summer seasonal wildlife are beginning to arrive again, starting today with the Beehives, which will not only bring Bees but also a few other honey-loving wildlife to your Garden! Beehive gifts can be sent to friends using the links below: Send Gifts
Beehives Your Beehive will attract bees to your Garden - be sure to leave out some Wild Berries for them to feed on! Every Bee spotted in your Garden will make some honey in your Beehive. When you have 5 lots of honey in your Beehive, it will be 100% full and can be harvested. This will give you a pot full of lovely honey, into which you can plant beautiful Honey Blossom flowers. The type of honey in your hive will affect the colour of the Honey Blossom flower it grows - this then affects which type of bees are attracted to your Garden next. There are 8 different Bee types to attract/spot, including the Queen Bee at the end (each one does its own little 'waggle dance' when spotted :) To attract all 8 of them, you'll need to figure out how to gradually breed the right colours of Honey Blossom. All the other information you need can be found in the 'Seasonal' section of the Wildlife Guide (along with details of a few other wildlife such as Bears, which are attracted by all the Honey around at this time of year!) Happy honey-making! |
Pottery Lottery Updates!
Thursday June 1st
Along with the pretty Sunflower-themed pots available as prizes in the Pottery Lottery,
there are also some new improvements to the Quests this month:
Thursday June 1st
Along with the pretty Sunflower-themed pots available as prizes in the Pottery Lottery,
there are also some new improvements to the Quests this month:
- Pausing Quests is now possible, meaning you can switch between part-completed Quests any time you wish. After pausing a quest, you will get the option to resume, or reset it (start again) any time you like in the future, and you can pause / switch between as many Quests as you like. Note that pausing Quests does not pause the timer for earning bonus spotting Scrolls on the Quest Levels.
- The Advanced Quest has been made more achievable by removing some of the more difficult wildlife (no more Bottom Dwellers, Alice Wildlife, Candy Critters, Loch Ness Monster, 'out of season' Babies) plus a few other subtle tweaks based on player feedback. It's still quite challenging though!
- A new Extreme Quest is now available, featuring wildlife excluded from the Advanced quest, for players who would still like a really tough challenge. There is only 1 pot as a prize for this quest, which everyone who dares complete it is guaranteed to earn (as long as you complete it before the Lottery Draw date!)
Downtime Today
Thursday May 4th
Unfortunately we experienced some downtime today, where Fairyland was unavailable for a few short periods of time (plus a couple of other minor issues which often happen when we have downtime - your garden news log may have been cleared, and possibly a couple of unexpected Field Mouse visits too!)
Our server hosting company have advised us that the issue should now be resolved, so all should be fine from this point on, but apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Anyway, this definitely seems like a good excuse for a Free Superfood weekend, so we'll kick one off at some point tomorrow (Friday) but letting everyone know today so you can plan ahead and maybe use it to help with a tricky Pottery Lottery Quest!
We will post again here when it begins, so no need to keep checking the Food Shoppe - you'll be alerted by the News(1) sometime on Friday!
Plant An Earth Flower For Earth Day!
Wednesday April 19th Fairyland's Earth Flower is back again, in time for Earth Day on April 22nd! As usual, the Earth Flower also attracts cute little Earthworms to your Garden (which are quite rare, so you may need to plant a few Earth Flowers to attract them more easily.)

Easter In Fairyland - With New Cupcake Eggs!
Wednesday March 8th It's Easter time in Fairyland once again, and this year you can decorate your eggs to look like cupcakes, and then keep them as pots! Get started now by sending Daffodil and Easter Egg Plant gifts to friends!
Remember, to attract some of the Easter Wildlife (chicks, seahorses), you'll also need a nest to collect mini eggs dropped by the Easter Bunny. (If it's your first Fairyland Easter, you can get a free ready-built nest by clicking here!)
The Birthday Chick Returns! After a 5-year absence, and by popular demand, the Birthday Chick is returning to help celebrate Fairyland's 15th Birthday year! The Easter Bunny will sometimes drop a special 15th Birthday Egg (for every 5th, 15th, 25th etc that you spot) - this will hatch a Birthday Chick, as long as you have some Birthday Cake in your Garden for it to eat! Note: If it's your first Easter in Fairyland, you should figure out how to attract all the different Easter wildlife (including chocolate bunnies, baby chicks & baby seahorses) before you start the Egg building challenge, because you'll need all of them!
Happy Egg Hunting! |
Leprechauns and Shamrocks!
Saturday March 4th It's the time of year again when the Leprechauns pay a visit to Fairyland, and they can be spotted around the Gardens mischeivously stealing the veggies which have been left out for Wildlife! Leprechauns are attracted to Gardens with fully grown Shamrocks, and these are available now for gifting to friends! Send Gifts
As usual, every Shamrock harvested releases a Pot O' Gold. There's a 1 in 10 chance that a Shamrock will be of the lucky 4-leaf variety (these release more Gold than the 3-leaf ones when harvested!) Shamrock Pots!
In case you missed them in previous years, Shamrock Pots are also available again... The "Inflating" Shamrock Pot is earned for every 10th Leprechaun you spot (either regular or Scuba-Leprechaun) in other Gardens. He will then drop one of these for you, sending it to your Storage Area. |
Woohoo, Special Offer Time!
Thursday February 23rd Great news - our Double Star Dust offer is available again, so you can get twice the usual amount of Star Dust with any purchase :) The special offer will be available for the next couple of weeks if you'd like to treat yourself (or a friend!)
