This involves checking through a list of garden links and placing them into categories as to what wildlife they are attracting. It is done each Friday/Saturday. If you would like to become one of the 60+ volunteers who do this each and every week, please click the "help wanted" sign and submit your information. ♥ Attention ALFF Members ♥

With the start of a new year, we decided it was time to freshen up a few things, starting with our certificates. They’re brand new and available right now. You can see them on our website, located here. The page also has instructions for those of you who like to do it yourself. If you’re not able to do that, or prefer not to, you can request a certificate in a message on our group page. The link to the page is ~ http://tinyurl.com/NEW-ALFF-FANPAGE .

Along with some fun, new things popping up in ALFF this year, Facebook is also changing (ALWAYS -- sometimes good, sometimes not so good), and one of their newest changes has affected pages like ours. You’ve probably seen this exact “blurb” before, in fact, so please take a moment to read it and follow the instructions...

FB's "algorithm" makes our posts more likely to show up on your feed IF you regularly "engage" with us and "like" our posts, or better still, leave comments or share them. You’ll also want to go to our Facebook page and move your mouse over the “LIKE” button that you pushed when you first joined us and just HOVER it there. Don’t click it! A box will drop down. You’ll want to make sure you have both of these checked – “Show in News Feed” and “Get Notifications”.

We'd also like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, and for showing us all the love and kindness you have over the years as we’ve grown. We're so grateful for each and every one of you. We lost some wonderful fairies this last year, and to honor them, I ask each of you to raise your glass and toast to a healthy, safe, happy, and prosperous new year, for one and all. We look forward to spending 2013 with you as you journey through Fairyland and through life!

Our Dr. Rosa pages have a whole new look!

The previous pages, although extremely attractive, were causing awfully long loading times for many people, and because of this, many of our members, and even some of our admins, were not able to utilize the pages.

The changes will probably disappoint some people who enjoy the beautiful and creative images, and for that, we apologize. However, we had to take into consideration whether or not the pages could be viewed, which is our main goal. We hope you enjoy the new look and that everyone is now able to load the pages in a timely manner!

Please be aware that these changes have just been made, so you'll probably see some tweaking over the next few weeks. Some of the links on various pages will need to be changed, and we'll get to those as quickly as possible.

Hi, everyone! Shannon here. Exciting news is breaking around ALFF!
Our very own Goody Harbon-Downes is the new manager and owner of www.ALFFLOVE.com
Goody has been handling the day to day site details for some time now, and we’re confident that
with Goody heading up the website portion of ALFF, we’re sure to see some exciting new changes!

We’re also working on some new contests for the coming year, which will be announced in the near future. We’re working on at least one that will be open only to the newer players, so if you’re a newbie to the game, be sure to keep your eyes on our page. We’ll also have some fun contests open to everyone, so please check the page often so you don’t miss anything! Great stuff as always!

New Page added

After requests from our members, a new page has been added to our website listing the Fairyland Wildlife for each food type to assist in planning what you want to attract into your gardens.
We hope you like it and find it useful.

Facebook is archiving ALL of the old Groups, and so ALFF has had to create a NEW FAN PAGE to take the place of our current Facebook Group Page. We've added Storyteller to our site!

If you have small children or grandchildren, visit STORYTELLER
and pick out a story, get settled in a comfy chair, turn up the volume,
cuddle with your little angel, and enjoy listening to a story
or two right in front of your computer!

Your little ones will love learning about the world of Gobbolino, Timbertwig, and Grogre the Ogre. It is sure to create memories
for years to come. Enjoy!

we currently have 52 to choose from.

Website Launch

The launch of ALFFLOVE has been an overwhelming success, and we’re so proud of it. Your comments and feedback have been so wonderful to see, and it means so much to us to have it so warmly received and appreciated. YOU are the reason this was created!

The treasure hunt has been a HUGE hit! Everyone has been having so much fun trying to find the pot of gold with the word or phrase of the day. One lucky person is randomly selected to win 100 gold each day during the treasure hunt. Anyone can play, and you don’t need to do anything other than hunt for the pot of gold shown, then post the answer in the appropriate place. For details, please visit the EVENT PAGE or the event tab in the ALFF group, which can be found HERE.

The tutorials are also very popular! Because we’re able to post actual screen shots to show examples, it’s made things much easier for many of you, which was our main goal. They’re a great tool, even for our most veteran players of the game. In fact, I’m really enjoying the Kiwi experiment! And the kiwi video is adorable!

Many of our admins have put hours and hours into the site, all while still maintaining our daily lives of work, family, school, etc….and in some cases, all at once! However, I have to give a special tip of the hat to Luana. She has given more than most will ever know, to ensure that the site was up and running, and that it is as amazing as it is. It wouldn’t be ALFF without her love of Fairyland and her desire to help others.
